I am happy for Cressida! Hope she finds love with that guy for a loong period of time! Hopefully she will never get back with Harry!
 
My two cents on Harry and marriage: I don't see it happening at all. Too much pressure and too much expectations and I doubt marriage is really his number one focus for the next years. But this is just my opinion, and he could well pop up the question to someone next year :hornets:
 
Although I do think that Harry would love to have a wife and a family, he's astute enough to realize that getting to that point is not like going out shopping for a new car. Most likely he'll put his priority into getting his life's path in good order and should he meet someone, fall in love and marry, that'll be the icing on the cake. He's a very sensitive and caring man and I really doubt that he'd marry just for the sake of being married. It would have to be a relationship that he could put his heart and soul into and give 100% to it.

That's just my take on it.

No one should expect him to settle right down and make a family man out of himself. I don't know, he is still pretty young, I think he just ought to stay happy doing what he wants to do, whoever he brings into his life to make a wife out of will be a surprise and eventually when and if he has children it'll be an interesting news story. So whoever he gets with will have to be strong and able to deal well with others, balance a book and really take to the public eye. Yeah, she'll need to come from a well to do family with benefactor history or something for a good many reasons. She'll need to be from England. Her work history and education will be important.

Prince Henry is someone who at this stage in his life hasn't experienced any of these kinds of commitments to another person, his deeply felt commitment is to his work and his life achievements right now, gosh, anyone could understand that, even if it has to be explained to them.
Lots of females might like to have Prince Henry as a husband, I couldn't fathom wanting that, sorry, and there is nothing wrong with someone wanting the man. It is only a problem if the let down is an issue or the feeling of never being able to have him causes some kind of sadness. Personally, being a wife I will tell you this, having a husband in my opinion is a great thing for me. No woman truly understands a man, for being a man, lol. One could gab about types of guys and be so wrong and it would just be kind of disgraceful to even try and perhaps indignant to even try to come up with a type to put them in. As far as wanting a royal husband, I couldn't understand that and I would cry if I had to have anyone different than who I have got. Marriage does change you, so much, that once you get married, your a completely different person, your mind matures with the person your with for so long it's like kind of unexplainable, but it's great.

Actually I think Harry has things pretty much worked out for the near future. Working in Africa and going into the field and experiencing what is being done, what the problems are and what is needed is getting hands on experience for his work on conservation with United for Wildlife which is part of The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. Harry has always been a very hands on kind of guy and seriously gets involved with what he's backing.

Its my understanding too that once he does return from Africa, he will be working as a civilian with wounded service personnel which is an area of interest that holds Harry's heart too.

Seeing the level of involvement and the passion and the full attention Harry gives to anything he takes on, I expect no less from him if/when he does meet someone he wants to spend the rest of his life with. He has stated that he would like to settle down, marry and have a family but he's not going to go about it half heartedly. Its just not Harry's way.
 
Maybe Lady Lara has a younger sister who would be suitable? :D

Oh yah... just what Harry needs. A 21st century version of the marriage market of the debutante age and being paraded as if at a meat market and he's the prime rib. Can you really see Harry falling for this? Glad he's been keeping himself in good shape and if I was him, I'd run for the hills. :ROFLMAO:

Well, it is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man of large fortune must be in want of a wife :D :rolf:. Sorry, I just couldn't resist. I'm sure there's a modern version of Mrs. Bennet, just dying to push her daughter's into Harry's lap. What a great premise for another take on 'Pride and Prejudice'...Royal style :wink:. But on a serious note, yes, Harry is keeping busy, and more than likely finds this whole match-maker claptrap amusing.

Harry has done the North Pole and there's pictures to prove it. Well, he's trekked the Artic with Walking With The Wounded at least. :lol:

Hmmm... maybe an old castle somewhere in Scotland with a moat?
 
Harry didn't actually make it to the North Pole. He just did part of the way with them and had to leave for his brother's wedding.

Perhaps friends of these sisters might have spread some rumours and KP decided to nip it in the bud before the major tabs leaped on it. We know how they love to speculate on Harry's love life, even when nothing's happening! All the same, Antonia is employed, into charity work and a brunette would make a nice change...
 
They denied it for 1 of 2 reasons.

1. He is secretly with someone else. William had the Palace deny the tabloid rumors linking him to Jecca Craig in 2003, when he was already secretly with Catherine. The Palace also denied the Camilla Thurlow rumors around the time we believe he had a brief reprise with Cressida.

2. He is just fed up with the rumors about his love-life and wants peace and quiet.


Given how rarely the Palace denies this type of tabloid prattle, I'm leaning a little towards option 1. The Palace let that Emma Watson tomfoolery take over the internet for days before Ms. Watson denied it on Twitter.

The video of an interview within the link is very short. Puzzling. Since we don't hear the questions he is answering what we hear him saying seems odd. Is he saying he cannot do the soldiers' family stuff and prefers 'the trip' he's doing? What is he doing? How would he be paid for what he is doing? He says he needs a regular paying job. I'm confused. :huh:

The Palace denied the Jecca rumor because Kate was livid. Plus its william.
Harry isn't at some school and far from the circle of socialites . They denied this rumor because the dm has been writing stories trashing his stay in africa. He had to squash that by driving 3 hours to speak to the namibian pm.They denied the wedding rumor last month as well. KP is tired of being called to confirm rumors of his love life or lack thereof.
 
:previous: The video is an excellent example of media manipulation. In context, on tour in NZ it made sense. However, the DM posting an edited version of that interview in an article with the header "Did Prince Harry have a fling with this Brazilian party girl?" was very misleading and quite frankly, made him seem like an airhead.

It just reiterates the truth that just because it's in the press it doesn't make it true. Posting an edited part of the interview made it seem like he was saying almost the opposite of what he actually did say.

Yet another example of "telling a half truth is more of a lie than an outright lie"! The Daily Mail Online and others of the same ilk specialise in it.

I know this is your theory but I have a really difficult time imagining this. Catherine seems to be one of the calmest people in the media spotlight. In fact, I find her too passive. She let's herself be bullied by the media. They make up malicious lies about her. They take potshots at her pedigree. They violate her human rights : phone-hacking, long-lens photos, and use of fraud to access her medical records. Through it all she keeps a dignified silence. Even in the engagement interview she said she doesn't care about media lies as long as her family and friends know the truth.

It's William and Harry who get furious at the lies and mistreatment from the media. They fight back. Can you imagine Catherine trying to punch a paparazzi like Harry did?

I think William got livid that the tabloids were twisting his innocent friendship with Jecca. Especially, since he had a secret girlfriend and Jecca was in a long-term relationship. The tabs were depicting Jecca as a harlot who was two-timing her boyfriend. I think William told the Palace media rep to shut down the rubbish. It was reported after that William called Jecca's boyfriend to apologize for him being dragged into the tabloid nastiness.


Anyways, back to the topic at hand. It's too bad Antonia's older sister Tessa is already married. Tessa seems more like Harry's type. Tessa is super artsy like Florence and Cressida. And she is currently a jewelry designer like Chelsy supposedly is. They might have been a decent match.

Yeah that's why I said it's william, since he has a history of getting upset quickly with the tabloid writers. Harry knocking out the pap was more of his drunkenness that time. Though he did get upset over that movie date headline last year. I do recall kate walking with pippa and covering her face, telling paps that this should be illegal. But she has come across calmer in comparison because she does enjoy the attention when she's dolled up. All these socialites appear to be doing the same things because they're all from the same set. I'm surprised it was denied before it was reported. But it isn't rare for kp to know first before reporting it. I'm more surprised that the latest rumor about that Brazilian girl didn't have any proof. A rumor that was easily forgettable.
