The "right girl" for him is obviously Theodora of Greece. She is the right age and a fourth cousin (once removed ?), descending from both Queen Victoria of the UK, the last German Kaiser, and kings of Denmark and Sweden.

I have to say that such a development would surprise me. Ive never heard of Harry seeking out worldly, older, (presumably married) women as confidantes.

Quite the reverse, in fact, young, pretty carefree blondes have been his cup of tea! Perhaps time for a change, but no married ladies hanging about in the background, or foreground for that matter. Please!

The DM isn't what I'd call a reliable news source so whatever they say... I'd take it with a pinch of salt. I think I'll wait for proof first.

I wouldn't rely too much on what the DM says either. I am sure Camilla, as a stepmother, would want to see her her step-son happy, but I just can't imagine her actively getting involved, making suggestions as to who he could date etc. Harry seems to be very much his own man and if the right girl comes along he'll pursue her!

To be honest, I think every member of the family and not a few of his married friends has an eye out for possible "contenders" and I'd bet my last Cent that he has found himself "paired off" or escorting women he has never met or only seen in the periphery, into dinner or at weddings.

Where there are bachelors there are scheming friends and relatives and at every dinner, party, etc, is a potential Duchess. I would even venture to guess that even his Aunt has participated, although to be fair, she probably looked him straight in the eye and told him to get real and start looking!

On the plus side, at least he is well versed in "dinner conversation" and would have no trouble . . . "did you watch the Rugby World Cup final, weren't the AB's fanb*****tastic, and Richie and Dan . . . sheer dynamite . . . ?"

Harry isn't under the pressure William was under to produce offspring, so he can wait till he finds someone that really suits him. I hope he does though, sooner rather than later, because he seems to want to marry and have children.

Not only arranged marriages in royalty but also within the aristocracy. It wasn't that long ago that the London Season started with Ascot and then there were rounds of parties and balls and teas. Commonly known then as the "marriage market" for suitable gels to meet well heeled bachelors.

I'm so with you about the beard. He looks like a lumberjack. All he's missing is a plaid flannel shirt, jeans, and boots. Then again, I prefer a clean-shaven look in general, so I'm biased. As to Ms. Bonds being ideal for Henry, I'll have to respectfully disagree. I think that Henry would benefit from stepping completely out of his social circle, and try to meet some people through his charities. He would benefit from finding a woman like Catherine, who is serious, well-educated and comes from a close-knit family that knows how to behave des retry when necessary.

Lol, tumblr and all the young people are going nuts over the beard. Vanity fair has written a piece on it etc. Beards are very "in" right now and Harry is no exeption!

I don't really associate Bertie or Prince Andrew of Greece with a beard. Are you referring to the 7th Earl of Spencer or the 4th Baron of Fermoy?

I know some of the past Earls of Spencer had impressive moustaches.

I have a feeling the original poster may have been referring to George V, who would be Henry's great-great-grandfather, or Edward VII, who would be his great-great--great-grandfather. Both kings sported beards, though O I won't consider Edward VII ruggedly handsome. Not so sure about George V either. He looked more dapper, especially in his younger days, and greatly resembled his cousin, Tsar Nikolai II of Russia.

It is a bit of a family tradition. Prince Michael of Kent is bearded. I've seen Charles and Andrew briefly sporting beards during their time in the Navy, also Prince Philip.
