It looks as if the lads are behaving disgustingly normal as both seem to have their eyes on the prize . . . . . wings and helicopter ratings.

As to Chelsy? I am almost persuaded to believe that they both decided to concentrate on their immediate goals, wings and a law degree. Neither of which would be easy if attempted in the full glare of the media scrum.

Who could forget all those photos of either Harry or Chelsy leaving some nightspot or whatever, going from "mood" lighting to dozens of flashes going off within feet of their eyes, stumbling about like bunnies caught in the headlights and pronounced as being totally trashed or not steady on their feet or just plain falling down drunk. A parting of the ways sure took the pressure off.

Living on 82p a day, the girl who inspired Prince Harry's charity

Quote:
It was the moment that inspired Prince Harry to follow in his mother's footsteps and help Africa's forgotten Aids victims.
Cradling ten-month-old Keke in his arms, the 19-year-old prince appeared close to tears as he was told of the dreadful ordeal she had suffered.

The baby had been raped and tortured by her stepfather who believed a witch doctor myth that sex with a virgin - however young - would cure him of HIV.

In a TV documentary filmed during Harry's first encounter with the little girl five years ago, he despaired of her plight.
'I held her in my arms,' he said. 'She couldn't move. She had no expression. No laughing, no crying. Nothing at all. It almost seemed as though she knew what happened.'
What a sad and terrible life that poor little girl had.
I understand it's not Sentebale's fault the poor child's troubles are far from over, however I do hope the charity does find a way to assist her in some way.
Millions, billions are donated to charities but those who need the money most rarely see any of it: the bureaucracy and corruption is maddening.

It really breaks your heart, when you think of all the children, all people who live in such terrible conditions: it makes complains of our 'hardships' seem so shallow in comparison.

Sometimes the sheer volume of very needy people makes a person feel hopeless. But the best thing is to do what one can by researching charities to see where one's money is best spent.

Thanks for posting this Marsel. What an atrocious crime for such a young child to have to endure, I just can't even imagine! And then to continue suffering in poverty.
I hope Sentebale can work things out. I feel bad for Prince Harry as he started this charity with good intentions and yet they seem to be getting negative press.

Britain's Prince Harry was dubbed a "pain in the a**e" after asking for mayonnaise with his roast dinner.
The 25-year-old royal stunned locals at the Dabling Duck in Norfolk, England, when he and older brother Prince William dropped in and ordered their Sunday lunch

Prince Harry has splashed out £6,000 on a belated birthday booze cruise for himself and half a dozen friends in the heart of Africa.

Harry turned 25 last month but was unable to celebrate as he was busy training to become an army helicopter pilot and barred from drinking alcohol while flying.

One surprise addition to the list is Prince Harry, who makes his debut entry, at No76.
His position comes by virtue of being the 'fighting Royal' - a reference to his deployment to Afghanistan rather than his nightclubbing activities of previous years.

What a wonderful friend! If only we mere mortals could afford booze cruises in exotic locations. Where to next I wonder? More to the point, how do I become Harry's friend?

In a Sky news interview he did with William, Harry said he prefer flying the Lynx helicopter but he flies whatever he's told to fly so how shattered is he really?

He will represent the Prince of Wales who is in Canada with the Duchess of Cornwall on an official tour.
The 25-year-old second lieutenant in the Blues and Royals, who is third in line to the throne, will follow the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh in the ceremony to honour the fallen.

He is unusually taking precedence over Prince William, who is a future King, because he is standing in for his father the heir to the throne.

Ohhh Im near tears reading about the HIV 10 month old rape victim- what evil awful people and circumstances there are in the world. I do believe Harry has his mother's touch when it comes to persons such as this.....and uses his status for the greater good of all.
