I doubt Prince Charles or Prince Philip are "meddling" in William's private life. From what has been reported, they wanted him to reach his own decision and be fair to Kate.

I'm sure William will find an appropriate lady to marry when the time comes. He's still young and has a lot of responsibility ahead of him.

Well i donīt let my parrents or grandparrents deside witch man i was going to fall in love with and live together with him, and i think that it is a pitty that William is so weak that he is being told by his dad and granddad that he had to end his relasionship with Kate.

We're not talking about ourselves, or our parents or grandparents here.

You have made the assertion, so the question, still unanswered, was:
"Is there some evidence that the Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales were instrumental in William breaking off with Kate Middleton?"

I don't live in England as well, H.M. Queen Margrethe, however I happen to know that those to newspapers are about the worst kind of tabloids there can be I would never trust any of them.

Prince Charles has been quite supportive of his sons and their relationships so I find it very unlikely he interfered in any way.

Do you think that "Showbiz & Slap Dash.com" would be a reliable source as to what Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh may have said to Prince William?

That may be true, but you are quoting it as a source.

You have to watch out for those 24dash kind of sites that copy off everything from Asia News Network and pass it off as news.

When it comes to the royal family, so many different people say so many different things about them all the time.....I don't bother believing anything until I hear it come from the mouths of the actual members of the family OR barring that, a known reliable source close to said person.

sorry but i dont believe wills father nor the Queen could had made such a impact on him that he would end his relationship with KM if he really didnt want to do that. PW has always done as he liked and pleased as much as I know.

Back on topic,
I would like to see Will with Isabella Anstruther Gough-Calthorpe, I really like her for some reason.

She is gorgeous. The actress thing bothers me though. I think I would be a bit bothered seeing a former actress marrying into the royal family. I know the Grimaldis did it but that's the Grimaldis for you. The British royal family is so different from them. I would not like it, I think. I am sure I would recover but it might be a bit shocking!

The Queen and Prince Philip made it clear William should not feel pressured to rush down the aisle to marry Kate unless he was absolutely sure he wanted to. He said he was not sure and had to get out, which is only fair to Kate, who had the right to know where she stood, especially with the media scrutiny taking over her life.

William is not like me or you, so it's no use pretending otherwise. He's a future King with a long life of duty ahead of him.

Since his split with Kate, I didn't have an opinion on who would be a suitable match for William. However The Australian Women's Weekly has sorted me out by printing an article in its June edition entitled "Party Boy Prince Turns 25", written by "royal insider and friend of Diana", Richard Kay .

The article is accompanied by a separate article with a useful set of bios of 8 young women who are currently in William's life and speculates on the possibility they might be candidates for William's hand. It is accompanied by photos. The ladies are are Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, Alexandra Knatchbull, Holly Branson, Natalie Hicks-Lobbecke, Arabella Musgrave, Lady Rosanagh Innes-Ker, Jecca Craig, and Emma Tomlinson.

I have decided that Alexandra Knatchbull is the one. She's very pretty, is the right age, is intelligent and has the right sort of education in appropriate subjects - a degree in theology from Oxford and now doing graduate studies in the US at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, focusing on international security, they are related but not too closely, they are family friends and in the case of each of them one of their parents is/was god-parent to the other. Seems like the perfect match as far as I am concerned. Now I just have to get them interested in each other....... But at least I now have an opinion! Oh and when she finishes this degree she can do a PhD in something to keep her out of mischief until William's 29 or so and wants to get married. Edited again to add that she also has a good name for a queen.
