I like the dress at the Boodles Boxing Ball much better that that pink one she wore to the charity boxing match with William. The color is great and the cut is much more flattering.

The charity boxing match Catherine attended this year wearing the pink dress was the Boodles Boxing Ball for 2008. She wore the turquoise dress to the Boodles Boxing Ball for 2006.

I think she her looks are pleasant and photogenic. Perhaps not "beautiful," but still pretty enough. To me, her prettiness is undoubted, but still very average, very ordinary, like the kind of attractive 20-something girl I see everyday on the street.

^Weren't those last two pics posted by hilal from her gap year in Florence? I think she did part of it in Florence to learn about art or something, then also did something in Chile, something like what William did there, though with a different organization.

Or it could just be the sun in her eyes.

This is creepy, but this photo reminds me of a few of Diana when she was hounded by photographers in the 90's.

Yes, it's very similar to Diana in many street shots. Diana was also always hiding her face with her handbag or tennis racket. Sometimes I see a pic of Diana with a tennis racket before her face in places and situations where the tennis racket is even out of place, like with her wearing a pantsuit and not at all looking like she's going to play tennis. It's like she just carried it because it was so useful to use against the photographers, I guess, LOL.

About the subject of "bones" I think Kate is even more petite boned than Diana. Do you have the Christie's catalogue for Diana's dresses? If so, take a look inside it and you can see how Diana was so petite. I would not by any means describe her as "big boned" but nor would I say she was petite. She was, I think, somewhere in between. Kate's frame is much smaller, I think.

Now what about height? Do you think Kate is near to Diana's height? I lean towards yes because if I remember, without heels, Diana was 5'9, with heels, 6'1. I would guess Kate is at least 5'8 if not 5'9, but I can't be sure.

I can't remember if I posted these photos already. They show Kate in the first week of July 2007.

Thanks for the pics and the link! I agree that Kate looks more petite; I think Diana had a fuller figure. As for using a tennis racket, etc....I believe Diana was determined for them not to get a picture that would sell well. The better the pic, the more money the paps got.

They must have been really bothering her for her to put her arm up like that. She's normally more "in control."

It's quite a natural picture, isn't it? She looks like she doesn't have much or any make-up on, yet there's a lot of style there.

I find the latest photos of Ms Middleton show her as getting to look rather matronly for her age, she was much prettier a few years back. Perhaps all those nights out and nothing to do all day are starting to show.
