Hmmm...for some reason, I can't shake off the feeling that Joachim prefers Felix over Nikolai. I'm not saying this because those pictures show only Felix. But whenever I see pictures of Joachim with both kids, he always gravitates more towards his younger son.

Really? I don't really see that. I mean it may just be that Felix is the younger one (the baby) in the family so that his dad dotes on him a little bit more, but I don't think Joachim prefers one son from the other. If you really think of it, Nikolai had his parents solely to himself for nearly 3 years. Whereas Felix has to share his parents with his brother from the very beginning and it can also be said that Nikolai now has to share his parents too. But anyway, getting back to my point...it's just maybe a little bit more affection shown to the youngest of the family, but wouldn't say it's a preference. Also, don't forget, Joachim went skiing a couple of times with Nikolai only...father-son bonding time. It's definite that Joachim and Alexandra love their kids very much and equally. =)

The Danish Prince Joachim had a royal laugh at some of the pictures from his travel with care. Mr Jesper Bruun Rasmussen was autioneer at the birthday of the relief agency 'Care', where the Danish Prince Joachim also was present as he is patron of the agency. The agency held its 60 year birthday and in this connection an auction was held. Dinners with famous Danish people were auctionend away a the highest bid from bruno press

POLFOTO MAY 16 2006 The Danish Prince Joachim attended tuesday presentation of awards to the best apprentices in the eastern part of Jutland in Denmark. The awards were given by the foundation of the Danish Industri and Craft. 25 apprentices are educated from goldsmith to electrician over painter and they are all chose because of their extra ordinary marks in the course of their education.

Are there any photos of Prince Joachim's visit to California? I googled for info about his visit and came up with very little. Here's a link to an article in the Stanford University paper:

On the front page of today's edition of one of the Swedish tabloids the top story, with a big pic of Joachim, is all about Joachim's wedding night in Paris. There's even a little (old) pic of Marie Chevallier
 I'm not stupid enough to lower myself to buy their trash, I'm just curious to know if anyone knows which people's wedding Joachim (probably / assumably) attended ??

I do not think that he married with her mother in the hospital and his family away......when whe re-marries I think all Denmark will know all about it and personally I wish they made a beautiful celebration for them and all denmark...and the ones that are not danish like me!!

He was there from May 31 to June 5, 2006. Then he went on to Beijing, China. How frustrating for for you to have missed him.
