Yes that would be the best. But often the pieces she brings are split among their descedants like it happened with Queen Ingrid's jewels.

Hello Everyone,

I moved the discussion regarding Marie's education into its own thread so we can keep this discussion on topic.

Happy posting!

Her outfit reflects East Asian culture and perhaps was in celebration of something Eastern?

It's funny that both brothers went for darker-skinned, darker-haired women for their wives? Very exotic looking!

I once read it has to do with the way the mother looks when the boys are babies and toddlers. Queen Margrethe as a young mother was very darkhaired, too and loving outdoor sports, so maybe Mary, Alexandra and Marie reminded the brothers of their mother a bit.

It´s seems that the Prince of Orange and Princess Maxima will not attend the Wedding as they have and event in Middelburg, Holland on May 24.

Will there be any foreign royals who will attend the wedding or it's restricted to families only with the exception of close royal friends? It this a tiara or hats wedding?

I like it! However, I believe the M looks a bit too similar to Mary's.

Here are a couple of new updates regarding Mare and Joachim. Click here, here, and here.

For discussions for the guestlist: The Crown Prince of Belgium won't attend the wedding. He has an engagement for that day. I also think that the Crown Princess won't attend because of her fourth children!

I would like to go to the wedding, but two weeks later I have my exams for my last year at school. So it is impossible for me to be there.

The reception will take place in the conference hall of the conference centre of the shoe manufacturer Ecco. A spokesperson for Ecco confirmed that guests will first go to the reception place to go through security, and then will be transported from there to the Church.

To me it seems odd to have the reception of a prince at the Ecco conference centre…*but what do I know...

I guess they're having it at the Bjerremark one: ECCO Center - Bjerremark, if they're going with appearance - because while the other one is looking very fresh and modern, I can't really see it as the centre of a wedding ECCO Center

Another nice article with a poll which you can participate. Click here to read and scroll down until you see, "Skal du se det kongelige bryllup den 24. maj?" Chose Ja, Nej, or Ved ikke... it's your choice.

It might have been discussed before, if so sorry, I must have missed it, but is there a guestlist available yet? I was quite curious in how far this would be a small-scale wedding or if many european royals will be present at this beautiful day.

Here is a small press snippet from dr.dk the Danish channel that will air the Marie documentary prior to the wedding next month.

Also, expect an interview with Marie in the issue Point du Vue this week (in fact it is already out on newstands.) So pick it up if you can.

If it's that last one, they've got to be kidding! Unless the wedding is sponsored by Ecco Center financially, who on the planet would want to have their wedding reception at an ugly modern monstrosity like that?! Why don't they just hold the reception at their house?
