lovely pictures, the little prince looks very much like his brothers and cousins. marie and joachim look so happy, it's nice to see.

God, I can't believe how well Marie looks, she looks like she's been on a holiday and so relaxed! Very happy for them.

First of all, I have to echo the comments about Marie....she looks fabulous! Remember those photos on the balcony for Queen Margrethe's birthday? She looked all puffy & tired and now -- happy, well-rested, just wonderful. Can't say the same about myself when I left hospital after giving birth. 
In one of the close up photos of the baby prince, it looked like he had scratched his face. So typical of a newborn!
I also am touched by the fact that Marie's father was present. It's probably been a very quick and tumultuous year for Marie in many respects and it's great that her family is there to lend support.

He's absolutely beautiful! Marie seems so natural, relaxed, and happy. Her father is beaming, and Joachim looks thrilled. In the video, you can see her LIW walking behind them as they leave the hospital. Here are some more photos:

He does have a full head of hair. So cute! I also love the way that Marie's father has been spending time with her since the birth. They seem like they have a very close relationship, and it is a beautiful thing.

I'm glad to see everyone happy and healthy in the pics. Thank you everyone for taking the time to post them.
I will probably get slammed for saying this, but the baby looks a "tad" bit jaundice in his face compared to his little hands. It's probably nothing and will go away in a few days. I just hope he does not have to go back like his cousin did.

When watching the video, I noticed that Princess Marie is much more than the sweet girl everyone says she is. She seemed more sure of herself than Joachim, who seemed a tad nervous and wanted to get out of there. I was impressed that she spoke or understood Danish nicely, and seemed confident.
