Must be a rather high phone bill.

Not be funny...but do they even know who Princess Leia is...school kids?

In this instance Mary can't win....why shouldn't she visit her family? If she does, why should she spend all of her time holed up in her sister's house. Who hasn't made a combined a personal stay with some business? If she doesn't visit, people will claim she has forgotten her roots. If she spends her time at a hotel..she is too good to stay at her sister's house, etc. It will never end.

Zonk, I couldn't agree with you more. She simply cannot win, and it is unfortunate.

She told me that when they heard of the impending royal visitor just down the street ,about 50 of their children were allowed to go and have a look. Some of the younger ones thought they were going to meet princess Lea from "Star Wars."
As for PR-person Nina Fudala? She will say anything to stay in the good books of the palace in Copenhagen. Sad, really...

That may be true to an extent Trine; however, there is an obvious difference. What is it you may ask? Diverse opinions regarding Crown Princess Mary. Extreme right, moderate, and extreme left.

Furthermore, as I have said, the main issue has NOTHING to do with how many darn people were standing outside the event to see her. If you honestly believe that is more important than the sole reason for her attending the VC thingy, well, that can be considered "Sad, really". Sad, sad indeed.

Some are going to find fault regardless of whatever she does. Blaming her for everything that goes on.

Thank you, Amely! I think that Fred looks unhappy in both photos. Perhaps he was annoyed with the paparazzi; or maybe he was having a bad day.

Lilla, that is one of the funniest photos I have ever seen of this family! You have brightened my day.

He may have seen enough of Amber already. Where are Mary's old friends from Sydney days? One of them lives in the complex of the flat that was being marketed by Lend Lease and Belle Properties, that they were staying in. Just nearby. Manly is a great spot, surely some mates would have come along for topnotch seafood and great company? Amber would have regaled them with stories of her recent trip to Denmark.

Maybe their schedule was too busy? Or perhaps, she has fallen out of touch with her Sydney friends...it happens to the best of us.

Yes I guess! But surely, though, those friends would be very unlikely to fall out of touch with a friend who is the heiress to a European throne! :) Australia is not THAT democratic!

Sometimes it is enough to keep in touch by phone and true friends would have understood the time constraints of the visit. I have only contacted one of my friends by phone/email/vid link for 12 years but i still count her one of my best friends.
