All discussions regarding How Mary met Frederik, her alleged motives, and so forth should be discussed here. In the meantime, please continue the discussion: Pictures of Mary Before Her Marriage.
Thank you for understanding... I appreciate it.

Yes, the weight loss is obvious, although she was certainly not heavy before, but you point to two things that really make a difference; skin color and posture. Before Mary looked vaguely tanned much of the time. That used to be considered a good thing, but I think not anymore. And I noticed in a lot of these old photos how she seems a little pitched forward and how she seems to have a very long stride (not attractive). Posture is harder to change than weight, I wonder how she did it. Did she spend lots of time analyzing her pictures?

^ ^ Posture can be hard to change depending on how much needs to be corrected. I know that for people with slightly rounded shoulders and slouching something like a simple posture support strap can correct the problem within a few months but for more detailed problems people can need massage to help correct it. I don't know what Mary did but whatever it was it worked wonderfully, she has amazing posture now.

It varies - when she loses concentration she sometimes slips back into being a little round-shouldered, as several of the photos posted earlier allude to, and much footage since. She probably does yoga and pilates, and Alexander technique ... but any busy working mother of two young children is unlikely to be able to maintain daily sessions ...

I haven't seen any photographs with her wearing more than one pair but I have noticed that there seems to be a second piercing in each ear

I did once a modeling course, there you lear a lot about posture and walking, but like a model not like a princess, and i must say personally, yes it depends how i dress i have a diferent posture, for everyday probably i have rounded shoulders, but if i dress up for some special event i try myself to be streight, but i wonder if i do it all the time that day in the event or if i forget and even well dress i go back to my roundshoulders, i don't know!
her psotion with her shoulders and specially her arms and hands change a lot since she is a princess, wonder who is the magiciun behand the scene?

Does anyone have any pics of Mary actually in a "law" situation. Did she ever actually practice law prior to her marriage? There are varying stories of what she actually did before she met her husband. What was she diong when she did? I saw one pic on this thread of the night she met her hubby. Any others? Thanks!
The first few years as Princess, I did not like her shiny "dewy" look as I felt it should be matt and finished. I did not think it complimented her at all.

Mary studied law but I don't think she ever studied to be a lawyer. She worked in advertising or public relations, I am not sure which, and also in a large real estate company but she never practiced law.

Mary's University degree was in Commerce and Law. She worked in advertising and then as management in a real estate office before she married Fred.
