Crown Prince Couple Links ![]() This is the place where you can quickly find interesting links about the Crown Prince couple of Denmark. Official websites: Unofficial websites: Newspapers: Danish: Berlingske Tindende Jyllands-Posten Web-tv Politiken Australian: News.com Magazines: Danish: Billed Bladet *Tabloid that is frighteningly accurate sometimes (they must have a crystal ball in their office or something.) *This is a tabloid magazine/newspaper which features all the happenings in Denmark. *One of the leading fashion magazines in Denmark. Costume combines glamour, style, beauty and culture in an entertaining, sexy and informative mix, which is extra ordinary popular among shoppers and fashion fans. So yeah, it's a good magazine which sometimes features Mary. *Tabloid sleaze and cheese at its best. *Eurowoman is a monthly fashion magazine covering articles about the hottest must-have's from the season’s catwalks and cool, hip boutiques. Hello! *British magazine that covers royals, celebrities, D-listers, has-beens trying to revive their careers by selling their sad life story (as if we, the public, would actually care), and other people who don't deserve publicity. Her og Nu *Tabloid sleazefest extradordinaire that would even make your jaded sister cringe. Se og Hor *Low, really low tabloid magazine. But I'm sure they're lovely people when they aren't making up bad soap opera stories about the Danish Royal family. Australia: New Idea *Cheap sleaze and cheese tabloid. Yet another magazine that exploits Mary in order to make a cheap buck. The only upside to this magazine: Nice photos. The writers could learn a thing or two (actually some need to go back to University), but I have a feeling they don't care... they must be underpaid. If you've read their magazine then you know what I am talking about. *An Austrailan rag which isn't always accurate. They love to make up wild stories about Mary. Nonetheless, it is a fun read if you're bored and want to look at old photos. Sweden: AftonBladet *Swedish magazine/newspaper. From time to time they will publish articles about the Danish Royal family. Videos: Mary Elizabeth Donaldson documentary*Someone uploaded the entire Mary Elizabeth Donaldson documentary that first aired one week before her marriage to Frederik. You better hurry up and watch this. Unfortunately, it was illegally uploaded to YouTube. I wouldn't doubt it if the clip were to disappear by the end of the summer. YouTube has been cracking down on those who ignore copyright infringement laws. Blogs: Gekroondehoofden*Great Dutch blog about the Crown Prince couple. Dag Hoelseth's Royal Database *Links galore! If you are bored and have nothing to do, well your greatest wish has been answered. Dag has complied a massive list of royal links and then some. Mary and Maxima *Main focus is on Mary and Maxima. Lots of wonderful detailed photos with commentary. Netty Royal *Danish royalty according to Dutch journalist Netty. This is a thorough blog worth reading. Princess Mary *Another Dutch blog dedicated to HRH Crown Princess Mary. It's a beautiful, well maintained site with lots of photos and commentary. Royal Blog.nl *A Dutch blog which also features the Danish royals. Great site, well informed, always updated. Royal Ungdom *My new favorite blog. These young, hip Danes have a deep respect for their royals, so much so that they decided to start their own royal blog which features original articles, photos, videos and so forth. Even though they are still in their infancy, expect big things from these royal journalists. Royals Web Blog *Royals of Europe are the focus including Mary. Mary Donaldson Web Blog *A great site with loads of photos. The language is in Dutch, so if you don't speak the language, entertain yourself and make it up as you read it. Websites: Fred and Mary*A site that hasn't been updated since the Luner landing in 1969. Future Queens Message Board *Another fantastic site that highlights all the future Queens from Europe. The Admins are cool so be nice. Mary Message Board *Great forum started by TRF's members JessRulz and Princess Robin. *All commentary within this topic are based on my opinion alone. Opinions are not fact. It's simply my observation as an objective reader. The opinions expressed here, by me, do not nescesarily reflect that of the owner of TRF, other mods, admins, or anyone related to them. Other Websites that are not specifically about TRH's of Denmark, but do include them every once in awhile: Crown Royals Europe Royals Princess Mette Marit *An absolutely beautiful and well maintained blog. Fantastic layout, many great photos and commentary. the page is in Dutch, but that should not deter you. The Royalist *Definitely one of the better blogs on the net. Always updated, well researched, thoughtful commentary, and good photos for all to enjoy. A must read for anyone interested in royalty. The Three M's *A fantastic new up and coming blog started by TRF member and Mary Message Board co-Admin, JessRulz. This English language blog specifically highlights Mary, Maxima, and Mette Marit which includes commentary, articles, and photos. This station shows all the latest news, entertainment, cultural happenings from around the world and in Denmark. There are two stations under DR: DR1 and DR2. To access these two channels, look to your top left. There you will see the two highlighted links, in red. Click it and there you go. To watch the news on the internet, click TV Avisen. TV2.dk *Danish television. TV2 Kongelig *Like MTV in its early years (substitute royals for music): All royal, all the time. Germany: ZDF *German. Showcases royals from around the world. ZDF's Die Konigskinder Luxembourg: Palace Royale *This weekly program main focus is on the Grand Ducal House, but they do highlight the rest of the royal families throughout Europe including the DRF. It's a fantastic program, so don't miss it. I will give you a head's up when a new program airs. Netherlands: Blauw Bloed *A fantastic Dutch royal program. Click Meer, then click Open in de Mediaspeler. Norway: Dagbladet NRK Video Clips *Norwegian television. Channels from around the world: ITV *Fantastic link. Want to watch the latest news from around the world? Here is a site that lists all of the television channels in the world. Danish Fashion links and Blogs from people who actually live there: The CIFF Copenbloggin *A blog from a hip Copenhagener. This site discusses the latest happenings in city and commentary, every once in a while, about the Danish royal family. Copenhagen Fashion Week Copenhagen Fashion Week TV CPH Streetstyle *Another one of my favorite blogs. This one features the latest happenings in fashion, art, music, and culture in Copenhagen. Yes, they do feature the Danish Royal family every now and then. Royal House of Fashion *Want to talk about Mary's clothes, designers, handbags, sunglasses, and so forth? You can do it at the Royal House of Fashion sub-forum. TFS *The Fashion Spot is the sister site to TRF. I've been a member over there for a long time. and unfortunately, you have to be invited to join the forum in order to post. Nonetheless, you can still read the site and find great links to many stores in Copenhagen. They also have a topic dedicated to Mary and her clothing. *All commentary are based on my opinion alone. Opinions are not fact. It's simply my observation as an objective reader. The opinions expressed here, by me, do not nescesarily reflect that of the owner of TRF, other mods, admins, or anyone related to them. Misc. Stuff:
Enough Rope interview with Andrew Denton Getty Royalty *Current photos of royal events. Constantly updated. PictureDesk *Always has the best photos to look at. Deadline Press *Photo agency. To view all links to various photo agencies please check out the topic Unofficial Links for the Royal House of Denmark. Grace and Poise *An odd blog. The author believes Mary is the only person woman should look up to if they want to be a true lady. She thoroughly analyzes they way Mary behaves and watches her every move like a hawk. As of late, she lectured the way one should hold their hands whilst sitting, right down to the way one should cross their legs. In the author's point of view, a woman is not a true lady unless they follow Mary's graceful footsteps. If you're extremely bored then wander through her weblog. It's vaguely interesting and unoriginal. However, make sure you spit out your gum before reading her dissertation. Real ladies don't chew gum. :snaps gum: Whatever. European Royalty During WWII *An amazing resource for anyone interested in this era of history and the european royal houses during the critical point in world history. Glenn Steinberg's has established a brilliant site for all royal historians and loyalists. Localeyes.dk *Fantastic video clip service, used by all the Danish media, without commentary. In order to view the myriad of videos you must register to the site. If you don't understand Danish, and would like some help signing onto the site, PM me and I will give you the detailed instructions to access Localeyes.dk. Worldroots *A well known site by Brigitte Gastel. A wealth of information about the Danish royals as well as other European royal houses. A must read site. Crown Princess Mary Photo Collection *A vast collection of photos of Mary. You name they have it even the hard to find ones. Enjoy. New Message boards, blogs, and misc. stuff: Capital Pictures.com Cyndi's List *This is an great site for royal genealogists. Fotomarketplatz.de JAMD Mary og Frederik Blogspot *Nice new blog dedicated to Mary and Frederik. Although the language is in Danish that should deter you from visiting their site. Mary and Frederik Photo Series and one More set that should not be missed. Monarchies of Europe *Genealogical database of the Danish royal family. Princess Mary and Letizia *Lovely new blog dedicated to Mary and Letizia. Check it out. Royals Magazine Royal News *The name says it all. A decent news link. Royal News Summary Blog *The best royal watching blog on the 'Net. Professionally written articles, unbiased, exclusive images, and up-to-date news and information covering all the royal houses including Denmark. Five stars! It doesn't get any better than this. Svensk Damtidning *Highly recommended. This Swedish magazine mainly discusses the Royals of Sweden; however, they do report on the latest happenings regarding the Danish royal family as well as the Royal Family of Norway. A great source if you want to know more about Prince Gustav's life companion, Carina Axelsson. Since she is half Swedish, they tend to report on her when any news on her is available. The Wedding of HRH Crown Prince Frederik to Miss Mary Elizabeth Donaldson. Yes, it is the entire ceremony courtesy of NRK.no *Some members have been wondering where they can watch the entire wedding on the internet. So instead of linking NRK.no, as seen several posts above, I linked entire ceremony directly for you. In the beginning the website will figure out your connection speed, so don't freakout. Eventually, you'll be connected and the program will start immediately. *All commentary within this topic are based on my opinion alone. Opinions are not fact.
