Will the baby's name be announced right away???
Or is the name not announced until the baptism like Joachim and Alexandra's sons???

Does anybody have some final guesses as to name and sex as we move into the last leg of the pregnancy?

Out of 126 votes - 69 is for girl and 57 is for boy.
Anybody else care to cast their votes before the baby arrives?

A girl
Her Royal Highnes is doing fine now and has returned home, where she shall continue to rest until the baby is born. No more official engagements for this Crown Princess!

I think it's a girl. I hope the laws get changed soon so she'll be Queen someday even if/when a little brother comes along, and I also hope they name her after her grandmothers (Margrethe Henrietta is a pretty name). Of course a boy would be so cute too!

I'll say it's a girl, we'll have a trifecta of queens in Scandinavia some day.

I don't think this kind if predictions is pretty accurate. It didn't work for my mother (it predicted three boys and a girl, she had four girls).

Well since the Prime Minister wants to rush legislature to allow a firstborn girl to inherit the throne no matter what, I think its safe to say its a girl. If it were a boy, there would be no rush.

There is no rush to change the succession law as this will take years to do! It has to be voted on by two successive parliaments and a referendum has to be held...At the press conference at Chauteau de Caix, QMII stated that neither she or the parents knew the sex of the child and this was after the PM decided to start the procedure to change the succession law!
