I don't know if or how many times the kids have met, but if Mary pops by to say hello, I sure hope she brings Prince Vincent to meet his godfather King Felipe...

Mary isn't "taking care of her injured daughter"? :ROFLMAO: Wow, some people are really reaching. They can rest themselves assured, I'm certain Josephine is with her mum and her siblings in Mallorca.

It would be lovely if Mary and the children (and Frederik, presuming that he joins them) meet up with Felipe and the girls (and Letizia, presuming that she comes back to Mallorca while M/F/kids are there) while they're there.

She looks a bit older than Josephine. Like Roskilde, I suspect it might be one of the Handwerk girls as well. The lady next to Mary in the picture of her in Mallorca is also Birgitte Handwerk, no?
 
If some want to think the worst of her they will,for me they both appear to be the most loving and caring parents.

i wonder what language leonor and sofia would speak with christian and isabella. i have no doubt they will grow to speak quite good english in the future, but wonder if they can easily communicate in english right now. it's very likely anyway that they do, but i wonder if they will understand christian and isabella, who will be most likely very fluent english speakers with mum being australian.
 
I assumed S&L have been taking English lessons for years and/or when they knew the peeps were visiting they brushed up.
 
i found this article from a spanish newspaper, published in cotilleando

apparently, mary stayed in palma for 4 days, and the family stayed at Son Pericases, near andratx. most likely they are staying with danish friends in their house, but the article is not certain on it. they mentioned she had 4 bodyguards, some spanish and some danish, apart from the company of her friend, and that they went shopping around Jaume III avenue, porto pi shopping mall, and went for a walk around paseo del borne and mercado del olivar. in this market, her friend bought at the market at the fishmonger isabel y manolo. apparently, mary has visited the island before in 2003, when frederik took her with him to the sailing cup, and when they went with the spanish royal family aboard the fortuna yatch. they also mentioned that frederik was previously there in 1998 with his ex girlfriend singer maria montell, who he introduced to king juan carlos.

Plus the business trip is also IOC meetings, thus only Frederik went

As far as I know Mary being in Mallorca has hardly been noticed, so she is not being criticized.
 
Does Christian feel like a proper little tourist with Hat and sunglasses!! Perhaps! Hope they have a lovely time and experience a different culture.
 
It's great to see they can have a short holiday without being followed by the press and are hardly seen.
Christian looks adorable in his outfit, love the hat!

No, we have not seen the kids are in Spain with her, - we have seen one photo of Christian and Isabella eating ice-cream which could have been taken anywhere. It seems fairly clear to me that they are not with her.

Also the Queen has been in Mallorca since last Friday

This article with the pictures, states that Christian and Isabella were in Spain with Mary.

If Mary was in Mallorca with Birgitte Handwerk (which we know she was since they were photographed out together) it's a bit illogical that Christian and Isabella somehow should be somewhere else in the world with Birgitte's daughter. Not to mention the fact that it's clearly stated in the article polyesco posted that Christian and Isabella (and thus, presumably, the twins) were in Mallorca with her :rolleyes:

Yes, the (Danish) article states that the children are with her, but it does not prove it. The picture shows Christian, Isabella and possibly one of the Handwerk children, eating ice-cream, nothing more. There have been NO photos of CP Mary WITH her children, so it cannot be concluded that they are with her in Palma. There is nothing" illogical" about it. IMO
 
Does it really matter? If she had some kid free adult vacation time with kids elsewhere there is absolutely nothing wrong with that on occasion. In fact some Away time is good for both parents and kids.

Why are you so vehemently arguing that they weren't together? I mean, Her&Nu got the photos from a photo agency (Scanpix) that most likely has been able to provide them information about where the pictures were taken – they wouldn't have written that Christian and Isabella were in Mallorca if they weren't and Her&Nu is the kind of tabloid that definitely would have mentioned it if they weren't together :rolleyes:

But no, as of right now, there are no pictures of Mary with her children in Mallorca – and thank goodness for that. It must be liberating that they can hold their private summer holiday almost entirely in peace without having to be bothered with photographers all the time. I see absolutely nothing wrong in that :)

Did you come here for trolling? There are better places to go where people indulge in every possible conspirancy theory about Mary but not on this forum.

Yes it's so nice, isn't it. I'm sure they have enjoyed being able to stroll unnoticed around like any other Danish tourist family.

Christian and Isabella start school on Monday so great for them and the twins to enjoy the last week of their vacation in sunny Mallorca.

Billed Bladet out today has information about Mary and the children in Mallorca as well, but fortunately no pictures (they are good to respects privacy, especially when the children are along)

Yes, as Roskilde mentions. Billed Bladet this week writes about Mary in Mallorca, without showing pictures. That is in accordance with the BB policy about preferably not using paparazzi pics and pics of the DRF that would be illegal had they been taken in Denmark.
Photographing Mary and certainly her children going about their own business, even in a public street, and without them knowing it or having given their consent is a breach of the Danish legislation regarding privacy should the DRF take it to court.

Mary was there with her friend, Birgitte Handwerk and her two daughters Palma and India. Isabella and Christian was there as well.

BB quotes Spanish media and there is no mentioning of the twins.

For someone who wanted to avoid the paparazzi, Palma de Mallorca in summer, when the Royal Family are present, seems like a strange choice to me.

At any rate, I believe she is back in Denmark now.

There is also a large interview with the Regent Couple that is worth translating, more on that later as well.

However, there is not much concrete news in BB. Except Mary being quoted for saying: "Here are lots of opportunities for activities" when on the cycle to the nearby riding center.
And there are probably more opportunities even than at Fredensborg perhaps.
They can swim, in the swimming pool or at the sea.
They can go riding.
There are more quiet lanes, where they cycle.
They can pop across the border to Germany.
Go kayaking.
There are several family oriented amusement parks within an hour by car.
The park is large, so plenty of room for children (and dogs) to run around.
Gråsten Manor is large as well with lots of rooms and corridors to explore and hide.
There are interesting machines, like diggers daddy can impress the children with.
Frederik (and Hamish) can cycle into the baker in Gråsten town every morning - and afternoon - and evening - after fresh bread and pastry without causing a stir.

And on that note let us have a look at the all time holiday favorite: fresh bread and pastry. :D

In the morning the menfolks are obliged to pedal to the local bakers for "rundstykker" and "morgensnegle".

Yes, as far as I know, then this pastry due to its looks is known as "grammofonplade" in Jutland, perhaps only in Århus :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
 
The Crown Prince Couple again spends part of their summer vacation on Gråsten

A wonderful summer news!

Frederik, Mary and four children (and Ziggy) will again spend three weeks of their summer holiday at Gråsten. And Margrethe too.

And continue Queen Ingrid's tradition :wub:

Billed Bladet confirmed it last week, and now it's also confirmed by the local newspaper after a union meeting in Gråsten yesterday:

From the local paper:
"The Crown Prince Couple will again spend three weeks at Gråsten Palace.
In addition, Queen Margrethe as usual again also spends a few weeks at Gråsten."
