You can do it before or after. But, if you do it after, you may have a few quirks to work around. You simply increase your canvas size to a popular size (800x600, 1024x768, 1600x1200). Then you will need to add a background or fill in the existing background. For example, the current project is a collection of layers. Each layer has an image. Then I added a background layer which I can choose my color, gradient, pic, or whatever. With one click of a button, I can change the color.

Here is my second Fan Art. Yes, I know kinda crapy, yet another collage of photos, but, I wish that I could do all that fancy stuff. I have read the tutorials and all but, I can't seem to do it....

i've been trying hard to do vector like that. did you do it by tutorial ?

i was playing around with filters. mainly smart blur and the i made the picture black and white and used the variations chooice to make in one colour

do create a fanart with those pictures of mary i posted in that thread....
there are also link that can help you if you never done a fanart before.....

I may gotten your post wrong. I read it as I did something very wrong when I had the text Crown Princeess Mary and not Mary donaldsson becouse the pictures was from the pre wedding event..
