Mary travels together with our Minister for Trade and Development, Mogens Jensen (who both Mary and Frederik works closely with on foreign working visits and official visits.)
They left yesterday evening. Mogens Jensen wrote last night at 7:50 pm on his Facebook profile:
"On this Sunday, I have no great desire to leave our country. But as the Prime Minister said we must continue to live and work as before. We must not allow ourselves to be cowed. Together with the Crown Princess I will now travel to Africa to focus on women's rights. No one should stop the fight for equality and freedom - either at home or abroad."

I didn't think that flight was that long but I guess the flights and the changes I did not think about. Did they arrive this morning or a day before?

There's a very hmmm....competent-looking PET (FET) in the background in one of the pics
Yes, but I meant the very nicely built young man in the blue shirt....Yes, there are at least three of them. Two packing considerably heavier gear than usual. They are PET though, of that I'm almost 100 % certain. But it seems like there is an outer ring as well.
Probably very wise as the refugee camp is situated close to the border of Southern Sudan!

The Crown Princess will tonight attend an evening reception along with the Minister of trade and development at the Danish ambassador's residence.
Impressed by Mary's Danish. The way she speaks it and the speed is like a native Dane here.
