Today, Crown Princess Mary opened the conference in connection with the "Copenhagen Cultural Children's Summit". Skuespillerhuset, Copenhagen.

Barely landed in Denmark after the business visit in USA, Mary was morning fresh and she also better be... Because again there's waiting our Mary a week with official duties every day. She has really had a packed and busy programme the last time - it's more than deserved if she hold a good long autumn holiday in two weeks (week 42) :)!

The purpose of this children's Cultural Conference is in line with the Mary Foundation, that is that all children should have the opportunities to take part in cultural activities, including sport.

Quite a lot of children don't have that opportunity.
Either because their parents simply can't afford it. And/or have social issues.
Because some parents prevent their children from taking part in such activities for cultural reasons, - mainly girls.
And indeed in some cases because of neglect. Children who are left in the care of an au pair all day by busy or even indifferent parents.
 
The children says about Mary. She's very sweet, she's in a way my hero.

Crown Princess Mary opened the new emergency building at the Regional Hospital of Randers today, October 25.

The first part of the new emergency ward was opened in 2014, today the second and final part of the building with a new emergency room, trauma reception and medical service was inaugurated.

Did you notice in the video when Mary left the hospital, how the two men made sure they would be in the pictures with her? :lol:

Fortunately, knowing the local papers, we can expect about a zillion photos over the next 48 hours.

And what was Mary wearing on her head? Leaves?
I know it's autumn, but wearing leaves on your head is a novel idea. :p

CP Mary takes remarkably good time to always greet all people and children. And it means so much when you have waited there in maybe a long time.

Article: Crown Princess Mary inaugurated the new acute building
Kronprinsesse Mary indviede akutmodtagelsen

A big smiling and very enthusiastic Crown Princess Mary arrived under large media attention today to Randers Hospital where many citizens and a lot of kindergarten children welcomed her when the Regions Hospital today was inaugurated by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary.

And it was only six-year Karoline Dammkirk who was allowed to present the flowers. Something she was very much looking forward to.

"I'm really looking forward to it," she said before the flowers were presented.
She has cerebral palsy and is very often guest at the hospital. Therefore her doctor asked her if she want to be the flower girl. And she immediately said yes.
Mary arrived big smiling and were very enthusiastic. She showed great interest in the event and asked about the different procedures when she was showed an acute treatment in a trauma wards, where a doll featured acute patient with cardiac arrest.

"One even gets you heart rate up by looking at it," Mary said interested after the show.

Crown Princess Mary left the Regional Hospital at. 12:05 to take the sea plane home from Aarhus - the trip to Aarhus from Randers took place in Krone 8 car.

Notice how the less than hairy gentleman next to Mary is doing a half Frederik with his hand. :p

And things would run much smoother at the hospitals - and on budget - if all the patients were made of plastic and rubber. :D
 
Mary participates in dinner and presents DANISH Design Talent - Magazine Prize 2016.

DANISH Design Talent is a competition where design talents to create a mini collection that presented at the event at Statens Museum for Kunst. It is the fourth time the competition is held.

Mary today will be visiting CancerWork. Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen,

CancerWork is a meeting place for young people who are being treated for cancer at Rigshospitalet. In addition, the outer Cancer plant's young ambassadors and volunteer support to cancer patients young and organizes events and excursions.

This event is closed for the press.
