LOL about the shoes. Being princess means you have to stand a lot.. so the oldest shoes are normally the most comfortable. Good for Mary that she figured that out.  As for recycling: I wasn't aware that clothing is a single-serving article, not even for Royals. Considering the price of good clothing, I think it is only fair to the taxpayer to wear these items more then once. Plus - I guess anybody has some favorite pieces of clothing that one simply likes to wear. Why should a princess be any different?

This is the outfit (minus coat) HRH wore when I met her during the Melbourne stopover.
Mary looks just as beautiful this time round!
I actually really like these shoes..I have seen them many times before (as have many) and say good on Mary for continuing to wear them..they must be wonderfully comfortable!

I saw better photos of the outfit on danishroyalwatchers and now I see it's shantung silk - no wonder it's moving around. But the sheen of the material is very appealing and makes the outfit much nicer than I originally thought.
I think Mary often wears clothes that I suspect look better in person than they do in photographs.

Yes her hair looks really nice, very thick, in this picture.
I think Mary wore this necklace at the dinner for Prince Henrik at his 70th birthday. She wore a black dress then as well as her wedding tiara.

The necklace at the chinees new year's concert has been worn several times. Just like an above poster said at Prince Henriks b day but also at a sailing banquet or presentation when she was with Fred. I love it too. It is one of my favorites. At the Aids benefit she also wore another one of my favorites.
