The danes do certainly not agree with you !!!

The danes are so relieved "the chosen one" is not a woman of that kind.

Besides both of them have moved on :

Since the break up with the Crown Prince of Denmark - 7 years ago - Katja lived many years with another man - was possibly married and then divorced from him - Katja is now about to get married to yet another man.

Crown Prince Frederik has had some girlfriends in the last 7 years - since Katja ...

In Denmark literally everybody is so happy for their beloved Crown Prince who has found a classy, well educated, strong, courageous, impressing and beautiful fiancee.

Why this danish perception - of the actual fiancee - is not possible to captive for readers of the royal message boards - is mainly due to extremely few danish posters - I guess.

Whisper : Oh yeah, then of course we have the shameful lies about their first meeting - invented, posted and therefore only publically known - on the royal message boards.

The online danish media should however give watchers the possibility to capture the danish atmosphere surrounding her in the recent events.

Because I totally regret having posted in this topic at all - I decided to rewrite the post - even with some o/t remarks!

I can't help but agree. I had a temper tantrum on another board vowing never to post or look at again because of the nastiness of the lies on the board. I just cannot see how some of the posters could see the pictures and the participants and continue to post that they were just together as he was desperate (oh to meet those desperate, handsome, rich princes waiting to be trapped by minxes - so easy).

Anyway nice to have a view that actually reflects the real world.

What are you all talking about? I have to say that he has had some attractive girlfriends. I like the photo of Katja on the first page with her hair back. She looks different than in the other photos.

I will say as a Dane that i did NOT like his former girlfriend Maria Montell.
After my opinion she´s a bitc.... and she was never fit to be a queen or a royal person.
I am very glad and happy that he made Mary his bride and the next queen of Denmark.

have a similiar look. Most were prettier than Mary but maybe she was more discreet and that was an important quality. How important are looks really?

Well that would have to mean that Fred is shallow and marries for looks but thankfully he didn't only for looks although i do consider Mary very pretty ^__^

I am just happy that he did not marryed Maria Montell and Katja Storckholm. They was never the best material for the role as the the next queen of Denmark.

I think that Mary is the best looking of his girlfriends. She is much more regal and beautiful. Some of them, like Maria Montell, was more "cute".

Besides, I don't think that looks alone would make a man cry like Frederik did at the altar. I think there's something about Mary, that some people can't see...
