Dispair no more, here is a story to cheer you up. From BB: Lille pige vild med kronprinsesse Mary i Polen | Billed Bladet

Today Mary visited a kindergarten for children with autism, The Synapsys Fundation Therapeutic Kindergarten to be exact.
And here Aniela stole the show, she was visibly over-delighted by the visit by Mary.
She jumped around, clapping and giggled: "Ksiezna danii! = Danish Princess".
And when Mary was there, she was laughing and jumping with delight.

Aniela were among those who presented Mary with a wood carving depicting a porcupine complete with flowers made from felt.

So many pictures and great coverage yesterday and today with such a packed program for both F&M there isn't that many pictures?!

Our evening news had coverage from Poland, but their second day is somehow drowned a bit by the media focusing on the couple's 10 year anniversary tomorrow.

I keep wondering why the sudden interest from the Daily Mail in Mary (and Frederik). I wonder if its been encouraged by the DRF or just that the DM has realized there's more royals out there than just the BRF.
 
:previous: Well, William and Catherine have not been high profile in UK since before the Australasian tour and Harry is keeping his head down, so they are looking for fillers.

Taking into consideration their royal track record, my somewhat cynical thought is that should Catherine fail to dazzle in the pretty near future, comparisons will be made and it may not be pretty or kind.

The DM recently launched an Australian section of their website. You'll find many reports on Australian celebrities and sports stars known only within Australia because of this. There has been an increase in Mary articles on the DM since then (could be the DM's choice because of the Australian angle, or the DRF PR team chose to utilise the extension into the Australian market).
 
^^ Interesting information, JessRulz. I was wondering why, from some time now, the DM started to cover pretty much every move of australian model Jessica Hart (everytime she's photographed out and about in NY it's there).

There was romance in the air from the morning...

During the reception at the town hall the city government had provided a cake in a wedding-cake style. Frederik and Mary were in high spirits and cut out the cake together after Mary propose: - Shouldn't we cut the cake out as wedding cake? ;)

After the welcome observed the media that Frederik gave his wife a loving kiss.

About the kissing picture - I'll almost bet BB save it to their magazine, but maybe we get it from other media :)

Well, I don't think the DRF or DK in general has launched a PR offensive in Britain. The readers of Daily Mail will hardly be considered a main target anyway. Weeklies and monthlies like Hello would be much more likely as they are aimed at "Mrs. Consumer".

Unless Daily Mail has begun to cover other Continental royals just as much, it seems much more likely to me that this is an attempt to suck up to the Australian readers.
I notice there are consistent and very clear references to Australia in the articles. Not least the headlines.

But at least those who do the articles do their homework. Spelling is right. They know how many children there are and their names. And the family relations are correct as well.

ADDED: I see Stettin/Szczecin is your hometown Zarat. :)

Perhaps you can tell us a little bit about the local coverage? And whats the word on the street?
Everything is interesting.

Mary visited a hospital today and that included the cancer ward for children.
One girl she met here was three year old Kaja.
Mary had already been presented with flower upon arrival, but Kaja thought Mary should have one more.
After sniffing to the flower and caressing the girl, who clearly seeked Mary, Mary gave her bouquet to the girl.

Frederik and Mary have just been interviewed by the media and a little, but priceless part was shown in our early evening news :D

The media: "Have you at all had time to celebrate each other during your busy day today"

Mary: "Sure, busy yes, but we have been together" and smiles to Frederik.

Frederik: And then it's good we are sleeping in the same bed :lol: (Frederik, Mary and media laughs) So we've woken up together, and think: already ten years? But it's lovely to have had ten years in this lovely way."

Think we will get more from the interview in the following tv-news... Or media.

Quite nice interview .

It has btw been TV2's most read story the last hours - perhaps because of the changing: Crown Prince Frederik: Good, we're sleeping in the same bed. ;)

TV2's Ulla Terkelsen and other media had the opportunity to congratulate F&M and ask them a few questions on their 10th anniversary.

What does it mean to Frederik to having been married to his wife?

- "It's lovely to be two at work. It's one of the best thing that has happened to me. To the official events it's fantastic to be able to walk hand in hand together. But also to have an separately events during the day - so we then can share the exciting things we've experienced. This makes it less hard at the end of the day than it did before I got married."

F&M tell, however, that they haven't had time to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary yet during their very tight schedule in Poland.

- "But then it's good that we're sleeping in the same bed. Then you can wake up and say good morning and congratulate each other and think about how wild it is that 10 years already have passed, but in this delightful way."

Ulla Terkelsen asked Frederik if he could put some words on how Mary has done the first 10 years as the Danish Crown Princess?

- "It's hard to put into words. It's fantastic what she has done the past 10 years. Partly for herself personally and also what she has done for her new country. It's hard to summarize it into one word. It's simply so admirable. The fact that Australia also have taken part in the joy only makes one extra proud."

But how will Mary herself describe the last 10 years?

Has it been hard? A reporter asked.

- "It has been a journey. A wonderful and sometimes challenging journey, but I have enjoyed every moment and I am looking forward to all the decades that lie ahead."

Classy and Elegant exactly how a Crown Princess should look. And Fred and Mary always look so genuinely happy together, I wish them all the very best for the future and look forward to many more happy pics especially with the family all together. The children seem to be growing so fast.
 
Now Frederik and Mary may be safely back home in Denmark again... But who knows... maybe they have stayed in Poland and celebrated their wedding anniversary...

It was also shown on the DR1 anniversary special.

There are a couple of charming little details.

Frederik is asked what it means in regards to the job that they are two.
he responds that it's an advantage to share the work, walk hand in hand from time to time but also how it's a good thing to work sperately too because that means that at the end of the day they can share their experiences and that makes it... and he was beginning to say "less dry" but corrected himself and said: "less hard".

Mary says" "It will certainly be an anniversary to remember, celebrating it here in Poland". And Frederik interjects: "You can say my surprise to my wife (formal word) was to invite her on a three day trip to Poland - in the presense of half the Polish population".
