Her green evening dress was OK at best: acceptable for the occassion, but IMO boring and not particularly interesting or flattering.
On the other hand I really like LIW Heering's sequined skirt from the same event! Looks fantastic. does anyone have a better picture? Also like her black shoes and top (from what I can see of it).

There's a nice story in BT today, that the Crownprince when looking at some smoked herring (the speciality of Bornholm) was asked by the press if he dared to touch a living herring. As the danish word for herring - SILD - also means 'a hot babe' he immediately put his arms around Mary!
I think that's sweet!

I think she should have dress more casual!!!Fashion and elegant but casual. Don't think this "oriental2 look is appropriate

I personally love this green dress and think that it was very appropriate for the occassion. Understated elegance, simple, but dressy. Quite lovely.
I would have done something different with her hair though. Curls or something.
She has such lovely hair, but rarely does she get it right. It's either not done correctly or it's done up way too much.

Wonderful pics of the little prince, thanks to all, especially to MaddeDK :)
He looks that big that you can already imagine him making his first steps, even if that's a bit early..

Another fabulous hat and ensemble by CP Mary. They look like a very happy family.

I love the green dress! I have never seen the entire dress before. It is a beautiful color. Mary looked great both days. Such style.

Can someone post a picture / photo of Prince Henrik as a baby or a toddler? I do think Prince Christian has a lot of looks like him, but I would like to compare!

post # 75, 4th photo is great. I love the effect of the wind on that take. By the way, is it my imagination or Princess Mary has an uncanny resemblance to famous British actress Diana Rigg of the 60's series The Avengers? I'm referring to the way she styles her hair
