Summaries of two articles in Billed Bladet #02, 2016.

Who took up position on Amalienborg Square on Vincent and Josephine's birthday - where he must have been frozen blue! - Because it was a cold day with heavy snow. - And judging from the expression on Josephine's face when sitting in a Nihola-bike with her brother, being driven to the kindergarten by mother, she had not yet fully re-acclimatized from Australia.
Mary too was prudently buried behind her scarf.
At 09.00 the family went out the gate heading towards the kindergarten, escorted by a PET officer on bike.

Mary and Frederik were pictured taking the twins, Vincent and Josephine to school on their birthday January 8th.

Like its custom for them and I think Denmark, they went via bicycles
and ziggy too!

bundled up but ready for a ride in the snow, after seeing these pictures this Southern California girl will no longer complain about my "winter" (thought it has been freezing !)

Do you remember the ferry Isabella christened?

It sails between Jutland and the Island of Samsø. Samsø is 100 % based on sustainable energy and as far as at all possible also recycling.
That makes the island a wonderful case study and research ground. - And that's good for the export...

Now it has been decided that the ferry, that now runs on natural gas, shall run entirely on bio-gas. Made from onions. These fellows: http://multimedia.pol.dk/archive/00634/_kologiske_varer_634461a.jpg
And waste from households too.

It has been decided to build a bio-gas plant to supply the ferry with gas. Onion (and other products) that would otherwise be discarded, will instead be processed and converted into fuel.
All the municipal cars on the island have long since been running on bio-fuel.

To sum up: Samsø is currently among the most environmentally clean habited places on the planet.

The plant will be ready in two years. So perhaps Bella will be back?
With dad this time? Because Frederik is involved in recycling and environmentally friendly energy-solutions.

"Josephine and Vincent Foundation awards scholarships"
Ivalo & Minik Foundation, which is named after Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik's twins, sends Greenlanders abroad to study.

"The three lucky recipients are Hans Peder Kirkegaard and Melisa Larsen, who each received a scholarship to study in the US and Majken Djurhuus Poulsen who have received a scholarship to study in London.

The purpose of Ivalo & Minik Foundation is to award scholarships to Greenlanders who want to take an international higher education or an international educational courses, including an internship in a company or organization."

Christian is really also a handsome boy. They are growing fast. We can also see how older they get, they get more and more dark hair like mother and father. I think they end up being just as dark haired when they get older.

The photos were taken of HRH Crown Prinsess Mary on the April 19, 2016 at Frederik VIII's Palace, Amalienborg.

A happy birthday on this sunny day.

Isabella is absolutely presious!

Where I always has thought she is the splitting image of her father, I see more and more of the mother in her too as she grows up.

But picture 2 is like watching a female version of Frederik. There is no doubt who her father is

Daily Mail has a peculiar habit of somehow comparing the BRF with all other royals they write about. Presumably to attract more British readers.

Isabella is a beautiful little girl, and she has such lovely eyes. I think her birthday photos were very sweet and I also liked the room they were taken in. I mostly think that she looks like Frederik, but in these photos I saw some elements of Mary in her.
I wonder if Elizabeth II sends Isabella a birthday card/message since they share the same birthdays and the DRF and BRF are friendly with each other. It's a nice thought!

Those are stunning pictures and great job by Mary!! I think this the first time I've seen pictures of Isabella w/her hair down in a very long time and I just can't get over what a difference it makes to her face. That could be the reason why many, me too, are seeing more of Mary in her facial features this time.

That is until picture three and she's back to being Frederick's little Mini Me. . Love the expression on Bella's face in that one too.

Wow all these babies are growing up so fast. Hope The Little Charmer of the DaRF had a wonderful Birthday!!

2012 was the first year photos taken by Mary were released. Not sure how old the British kids are.

IIRC the first time pictures taken by Mary were released - though not in connection with a birthday - was in the summer of 2006 - long before the British kids were even born.
(They showed Prince Christian in a pool, a towel and with Dad)

That's true. A summer greeting from the Crown Prince couple, IIRC. But it just goes to show how a term such as "research" is non-existent to the Daily Fail.

I wonder if Elizabeth II sends Isabella a birthday card/message since they share the same birthdays and the DRF and BRF are friendly with each other. It's a nice thought!

Sure, they cited Isabella of Austria as the source of the name, but Isabella is a version of Elizabeth (and in Denmark, Isabella of Austria was known as Elisabeth) so it could be a subtle little nod.
