Is anybody know what the ceremony is ? The red dress that the little girl wore is really like CP Princess Sarah wore in her wedding ceremony.

That 'dress' is Brunei traditional costume or called 'Pakaian Brunei'. Yes, it is the same costume any Brunei bride (including Princess Sarah) wears during the 'Berbedak' ceremony. In this particular case, the ceremony is called 'Menghantar Tanda DiRaja'. I guess it's like the sending of royal dowry. The girl, fully attired, is one of items in the dowry (I guess a very long time ago, the girl would be the present of the groom to the royal bride, where she will stay in the palace with the princess) But now in the modern time, she is just a symbol to fulfil the royal tradition.

Btw, please refer to the website below for details of the royal wedding including the explanations of the ceremonies:

Hi all! I'm so excited for the princess wedding and actully looked on their photos. Except the fact that they are too small to view so I have no idea on wich one is who. Any Idea?

Congratulations to the newly wedded couple. May your marriage be blessed with love, joy and happiness. Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bulqiah is a down to earth person and she is doing great works in Brunei. It is just natural that she finds love with Pengiran Khairul Khalil as he is a nice guy as well. Congatulations once again and I wish you both the utmost happiness in your marriage.

The Majlis Istiadat Berbedak Pengantin Diraja took place last night. Dressed in traditional wedding attire, the bride holds court at the Indera Buana Throne Hall of the Istana Nurul Iman. Members of the royal family and the groom's parents had a choice of seven-colour powdered paste to apply on the palms of the bride.

A similar ceremony took place later at Darul Karamah, the residence of Yang Mulia Pengiran Khairul Khalil bin Pengiran Syed Haji Jaafari.

You still can. It's enough to register which is super easy and free. You have to create an username and password and then add your e-mail. That's all.

I love her tiara.

And I tried to register, but it doesn't work, you have to be accepted or something a like..

Was there a military parade? Don't seem to find any photos.

Yes there was, Belga has one picture of the parade. (Not sure if it was an military parade though.)

I noticed in a lot of the pics the majority of guests wore black. Why is that?

hrm.. usually for the local people.. they wear black in the day and white in the night.. am not too sure why is that so..

beautiful pictures. Indeed the Sultan's daughter wed's in style.

I have seen the photos of last night's Wedding Banquet in Infofoto, but they are too small unlike previously. I wanted to see Malaysian Royals but I could hardly identify who's the who in the those small pictures. But I think no Malaysian Royals present last night, only the Prime Minister and wife. Was it?

Please help me identify the royals guests.

I think so too. This is quiet unsual i think. I mean there are only few VVIP guests, unlike the usual. You can't even see another tiara worn by the royal lady, except for the bride. I'm a lil bit dissappointed... huhuhu...:ermm:
