I think its Prince Hassan who is friends with the Dutch royals. His family (Princess Sarvath, their daughters and son) was at all the Dutch royal weddings too.
Oh and Queen Beatrix also seems to have had a great relationship with the late King Hussein and Queen Noor. Its evident in all the pictures from various state visits over the years.

P. Hassan and P. Sarvath and their family are extremely close to the Dutch royals. The former visit the latter at least a couple times each year. . .it seems their relationship transcends official and is personal.

I agree. Both women look gorgeous. :)

Actually, Sarvath is wearing a sari. . .not Middle Eastern, but subcontinental. But I agree with you that QR's choice is an odd one.

TRH Prince Hassan and Princess Sarvath seem to be well liked by all of the European Royals. They are seen in Denmark, England, Holland, Luxembourg as well as the rest of Europe quite frequently. I think that that is a great testament to them as well as the European Royals who show their constant support and friendship to TRH's.

If Blair did not convert to Islam would that have meant no wedding?

It seems they share genuine friendships, ones that go back for decades. In the case of the British, for example, I have seen pictures of P. Sarvath's mother and a very young Sarvath with QEII, so there are connections on both sides of the family.

Princess Haya wasn't at the wedding either, along with Ali and Rym.
Does anyone, who saw the wedding on tv, know if they were in attendance?
I also would've expected to see some of the Spanish royals there since the family is very close to the JRF.

The wedding would have no meaning. A Muslim woman can only marry a Muslim man.

I thought that the Spanish royals were closer to Queen Noor rather than to Prince Hassan and Princess Sarvath? I know that they were invited to Felipe and Letizia's wedding, but I was always under the impression that the friendship was really between Juan Carlos and Sofia and Noor.

Even if there is a friendship I guess at this time there is a "premium" on the Spanish royal family's time: Cristina is on maternity leave from the handful of royal duties she would've performed; Letizia's schedule has been altered now and then due to her pregnancy and feeling tired from her gruelling schedule; the King and Queen and Felipe seem to be quite busy and I don't know where Elena is -- though I'm not sure that Elena would've gone to represent her parents or the family. I noticed that none of Sofia's children attended their cousin Pavlos' youngest son's baptism in Greece either. I guess if they couldn't find the time to attend that, this wedding would've been further down the priority list.

Apparently P. Haya is in Ireland, doing something related to her equestrian career. And I think Q. Sofia was in Jordan earlier this week, but had to leave before the wedding. The Spanish royals are close to P. Hassan and P. Sarvath.

ah okay.
Well I think the Spanish royals are close to the entire JRF and in particular the close friendship is between Sofia and Noor like Alexandria said. If you've seen the video of the Spanish royals arriving in Jordan for the wedding of Prince Hamzah, the warmth between Noor and Sofia is evident. Also Princess Alia and Feisal were there and it was so sweet to see Alia hug Queen Sofia and Princess Letizia. Princess Cristina and her hubby were also in London at Prince Feisal's birthday party. Queen Noor has vacationed with Sofia in Spain. So its not just the Hassans the Spanish royals are close with.

Yes you're right about Sofia and Noor.
But i guess it makes sense for the spanish royals to not be there since they're busy. There's not so many of them either as the Dutch royals for example.

I think the outfit of the bride was nice and simple .

not againe Queen Noor yes what you wear very nice but it would be very nice to see you in some thing new , any one know how many times she wear this outfit , I am not against wear outfit for many time but not in the same way every time

and about Queen Rania I think she did big fashion mistake , yes it was nice outfit but not for a wedding , I wish that she chosen some thing more traditional .

true. This was one event I was looking forward to seeing Rania wear a traditional dress. She has been dressing more simply since she gave birth to P. Hashem, less "glamorous" i would say.

You said "The Spanish royals are close to P. Hassan and P. Sarvath"
which came across to me as you saying that the Hassans are the ones the Spanish royals were close with and not the entire family. But I guess that's not what you meant.

Her attire suprised me. I would assume, as queen of Jordan, that when at family functions like that one, she would be wearing a traditional attire, which I think are just gorgeous. I mean, at family occassions, I rarely see Queen Noor without a traditional garb on. It was a bit disappointing to me that Rania decided not to wear one.

The Spanish Real House and the Jordanian have good relation; for example, the Princes and the Infanta Cristina initiated their honeymoons there.
But as it says Alexandria that somebody went now to that wedding was complicated. The Kings inaguraron yesterday the Olympic Games of the Mediterranean, and not safe there it but I create to have seen one of the brothers of the King of Jordan.
