Also it had a lot to do with timing. As the foreign royals entered and were seated in the Abbey just prior to the English royals and the immdiate family of the bride, the coverage was breaking away from inside of the Abbey to show the procession of the BRF and the primary players in the wedding itself as they headed to the Abbey. Everything was on an almost split second schedule and I think most people were more interested in seeing the British royals and the bridal party.

The timing for the wedding of Victoria and Daniel was timed so that each arrival of foreign royals were given specific attention and didn't coincide with other people.
I agree that the timing of the arrivals of the foreign royals was an aspect to the lack of coverage. But, really, I don't think it would have made much difference if the arrivals had been planned differently. At the dinner for foreign royals the night before they were arriving one by one and it was still barely covered.

The BBC reflects the mood / interests of the British nation when they broadcast at an event like this. The public just weren't interested in foreign royals and so the BBC weren't either.

NO HONEYMOON FOR THE MOMENT
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen not to depart for a honeymoon immediately. Instead, after spending the weekend privately in the United Kingdom, The Duke will return to work as a Search and Rescue pilot next week.
The locations of both their private weekend before The Duke returns to work and their future honeymoon, which will be overseas, will not be disclosed in advance.
The Couple have asked that their privacy be respected during the coming weekend and during their honeymoon.

The correct spelling for "bending the knee" is " to curtsey" or "to curtsy".

Related to these are the nouns "courtesy" and "courtier".

Amusing, and yes obviously fake, Harry has quite a bit more bulk to him than the look-a-like, but it's good!

I liked very much the ceremony, but it is a pity we didn't watch the others royal families who came to London. It was already like this at the Diana and Charles'wedding, we did not see the royals anymore, I only knew that king Baudoin and Queen Fabiola were there, because I saw them when the new brides were in the landau for the honeytravel.
But Sweedisch people like the people of Denmark, Spain and Belgiuim likes very much their royal families but there are coverages on the other royal families who came to attend the wedding. I hope we will see the other royal families who will come to the wedding of Monaco. I Think it is more georgious, like the wedding of Princess Victoria. But I understand that the BBC wants to show only the british royal family, it is the us of the land

That is the thing - they haven't gone on honeymoon yet. They will spend a private weekend in the UK first.

I watched a lot of the highlights yesteday (as I am sure we all did) and really, there was a lot of emotion, sweet moments between William and Kate yesterday. With the wedding going on, you just couldn't see it, looks like it happened so fast.

They had sweet smiles for each other, held each hands in the carriage back to the Palace, were constantly smiling at each other.

Other pictures of William and Catherine leaving Buckingham Palace, this morning. It's the first time I see them holding hands. Maybe that now there are married, we would see more tender attitudes!

That was of my favorite parts of the wedding. I also think it was romantic. I thought the wedding was wondeful.I thought The Duke and Dutchess both looked wonderful.

After seeing the photos with better resolution, I can finally see all the details of the wedding dress. Nevertheless, I still reckon that the model of the dress is too common - I've seen similar models in wedding magazines, european brands and in photo albums of regular people.
Also, the make up and the hair style were a huge mistake. I don't know what was in Kate's mind when she decided to do her make up - on her own wedding day - by herself. The hair I don't even have to say that it should have been an up-do, right? At least I believe it's much more elegant and suitable for such an occasion.

Well, also disappointed that they didn't show other royal families but I understand that this was not interesting to the british and consequently to BBC.

Anyways, concerning XXI century royal wedding, Victoria's is still my favourite.
