i understood a little of the last part of the article, it mentioned a brief record of Hashem's education, saying he graduated from Sandhurst in 2000 and from Georgetown in 2005. Part of the first part talked about Hashem's parents, and how QN came from an American-Lebanese family.... it talked about the parents of the bride too, i couldn't pick up on much else besides the name of her father....i really couldn't understand much else besides that...

infact the only thing they said about her father is he a famous business man .
and yes they mentioned that the mother of prince Hisaham is amrican !

and I don't know if any one know this information or not but they said that his dynasty from prophet mohammad his place in the line three forty !!

The King and Hashem could've been in Saudia Arabia for a private visit for any number of reasons.

Well as a matter of fact i knew it before king abduallah arrives to Riyadh.... but i didnt write about it until he was in riyadh already and everything took place...
in arab culture if you were a king or the poorest person in the country the father or eldest brother has to go for the preposal to the girls family...
and plus i never base what i say on rumours or spectulations beleive whatever i say is based on 100% proofs athat i have but i cant always give names or say my resourses....and soon i have a new surprise and will announce it before papers....
and will be very happy to announce it

infact there are a lot of things happen but we can't write about it because we can't a prove what we say if it is not post in newspeaper !!

This is such a surprise. I guess I shouldn't be surprised after Prince Hamzah and then Ali's engagements/marriages.
I hope we'll see a formal ceremony take place very soon.
Seeing how both of Queen Noor's sons have married so early, I think we might expect the same from her daughters, though one can never be too sure.
How did the two meet? Does anyone know?

I heared they met in the states
plus she has some business and met a few times in jordan i guess he has some sort of business there

The TRF rules discourage speculation, for obvious reasons. We have all seen incorrect information posted on the Board as fact, and in some cases the posting of misinformation has been deliberate. The Moderators and Administrators aren't in a position to determine what is true and what isn't, nor what is purely malicious.

As to photos, any pic can be posted as long as it is done in accordance with the Pic Posting rules; ie credit is given for the photo source, it is not hot-linked, and unless in a current events thread it is posted using an image-hosting site such as ImageShack or Photobucket or similar.

I might be wrong about this, but I seem to remember reading that a Saudi girl needs to marry a non-Saudi Arab with the permission of her father in Saudi Arabia. Or soemthing similar, I read it in the book "Daughters of Arabia" by Jean Sassoon about the Saudi Princess "Sultana". I don't remember the exact rule and as I don't have the copy of my book with me I cannot be certain of the reasoning or even if I have remembered correctly.

I can't say I'm surprised by the news, one of my Jordanian friends has been predicting this for a while, although he suspected Hashim would marry a Qatari princess.

Either way Congratulations to Prince Hashem and Princess Fahdah, she seems to come from a well-respected/educated family and I hope they may have a long and happy life together.
