she is princess mabel (nee wisse-smith), wife of queen beatrix's second son, johan friso. they are not part of the royal house any longer (due to a long scandal before the marriage) but still, obviously part of the royal family. they have a daghter, luana born in london last march/april...sorry cannot remember teh month exactly!

In the case of the civil wedding, do the same 'rules' apply as with the more traditional ceremony?

Thanks for the links misshelen, it's really great to actually see film of the ceremony, since I'm not in the Netherlands, this is a great alternative.:)
