Such a beautiful, fun wedding.
Sarah's dress is the most successful 80's Royal wedding dress imo.

It was simply beautiful.

The A on Sarah's train was quite distinctive. I cannot think of another royal bride who had the groom's first initial on the train.

She did. It was covered up by flowers that she removed during the signing of the registry to make the tiara visible after the wedding ceremony.

IIRC, the idea was that Sarah came to her wedding as a commoner and left as a Duchess.

I thought her dress was lovely, but the "A" caused more than one commentator to compare it to "The Scarlet Letter."
