Before now I've not paid close attention to the Queen at the pre-wedding event. I love the shade of her gown. So often her evening wear bears elements of historic dress; she tends to make it work!

The Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor: Wedding Wednesday: Frederik and Mary's Pre-Wedding Gala

My favorite is Mary's red dress.She looked outstanding.I also liked her silver dress.Other favorites are,Marie Chantal,Sonja, Martha Louise,the Duchess of Castro,and Letizia.I agree with all the writers worst choices.Francesca was horrendous! I thought Mette Marit,Sophie,Alexandra's and Mathilde's choices were very bland.
