Thank you
Now I can learn how to pronounce the swedish. I know the danish translation by heart, it´s such a lovely song/psalm.

Daniel met on Monday the winners of UR's Rhetoric Match with sixth graders from across the country competing in the art of listening and speaking well. At an hour meeting Daniel told to the winners about his wedding speech. He had decided to give it in english, but he learned that the king would give his speech in swedish, so he changed the speech a bit so that it was a mixture. Daniel told that Victoria had done many things which he thought were sweet and he wanted to include them in his speech, but he chose one (the 30 letters).
One of the pupils told that they discussed how they think it is best to prepare when they are going to give a speech and how he writes his speeches.
“I thought he would be a little more stiff but he was absolutely not. As soon as he came in the room, he created the atmosphere.”

The Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor: Readers' Top 10 Wedding Gowns: #1. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden
I love everything about Victoria's look! The design is fantastic! I love the simplicity of it, the rounded collar that goes off the shoulder and the gorgeous veil! The stunning Cameo tiara fits perfectly with the dress to me. I think it's the perfect tiara for a future Queen to get married in. This gown is perfect for Victoria. I think this look is perfect, and this is one of my favorite royal wedding dresses. This dress is, simple, beautiful, classic, elegant, regal, and timeless.

I am so surprised that this was the favorite! Not because I think it is undeserving (it would make it into my top ten), but because I did not realise that Victoria's bridal look was so popular--I always thought it slipped under the radar. Thankfully I was wrong! As (although I still prefer Queen Margrethe) this was, for me, a look that was very fitting for a modern-day princess who will someday step into the traditional role of queen.

I have a quick question and I apologize if its been asked, why didn't Victoria have her sister in her wedding?

It seems to be the prevailing tradition to have young girls and children as Bridesmaids rather that adult Maids of Honour with royalty. Catherine and Stephanie being recent exceptions. (See ugly Bridesmaid dresses).
On the up side, the "sister" gets spared the indignity of the almost universal fugly Bridesmaid dress. And, if you are royal, it would be an absolute b**** to coordinate Tiara's. Thankfully there are no baby or demi Cameo tiara's (praise the Lord for small mercies).
I think Catherine was the only bride willing to have her sister walk up the aisle with her and, as an indicator of her own self confidence, dressed her in a knock-out white couture gown.

Just so I'm understanding clearly....This is as Victoria is about to leave the Palace and head to the Church, right? The wording up there's a little confusing. :)
A great picture of her helpers trying to wrangle that long train of hers.
Great find and thanks for the link to it.
