As a 'johnny-come-lately' to this thread: I agree! This is definetely the best royal wedding I've been to in front of my TV  ! The atmosphere was so special that somehow it permeated the TV-screen! What I noticed in particular was the finely tuned balance between the royal and popular tradition and how attentive Cps. Victoria was towards Daniel during the day! Who has ever seen a royal bride kissing the hand of her husband-to-be in front the altar?

Completely agree! Everything was so perfect, and it really felt like a family wedding, it was truly beautiful! Truly the best wedding I have ever seen, I just wish I could of understood it!

Hello everyone ! I'm new here and it's a pleasure to see that my love for royals is shared with so many other people !!!
I absolutely adored Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel's wedding last year ! It was so moving and adorable !
I found links to download the ceremony and I'm so happy for that !
I understand that there has been a behind the scenes documentary but I can't find a link that is active. Can someone help me with this ?

I remember last year's Swedish wedding vividly - my ideal wedding for royals, princes, commoners etc.
No showing-off or ostentatious behaviour, just dignified and appropriate....

Victoria's wedding dress definitely didn't have the wow factor. I saw some guests who were wearing more interesting and beautiful gowns. I think her dress was pretty and it did nave a nice train, but it wasn't anything to write home about. Victoria herself on the other hand was radiant and so beautiful and happy.
What were some of these ill feelings about them getting married? I've heard there were some but never can find any details.

Oh yes I do agree with you Kitty. The wedding was beautiful and Victoria was radiant. The gown did not have the so called WOW factor but it was classic, simple and beautifully understated. Victoria and Daniel do make a lovely and happy couple.
