Yes it is and I'm glad to finally have a close up of the incredible embroidery work.
Veil is still the only stunning thing about the dress. Now on display it looks even more like the lackluster wedding gowns of the 70's like Queen Silvia's.
Another thing I will say is that the veil seems too long for the train. Idk but I wish they were more in proportion.
You can do minimalist without being plain.
I like Meghan's wedding gown because it stands out for the simple design. Imagine the hue and cry if Meghan wore something like this for her wedding

We expect modern brides to look sexy walking down the aisle, or look like a Disney princess. Frankly a bedazzling here and there on the dress would have made it no different.

I would say with the exception of Kate, Madeline, Claire and Stephanie. All Royal wedding dresses have been very simple.
Victoria which I would argue is the most popular wedding of this current generation of royals. Charlene, MM, Meghan have been very simple but very memorable.
Considering that the exhibition has now been EXTENDED because of its popularity, it doesn't seem to have been a problem holding the exhibition in the "dead of winter" when it's not "prime tourist season"!Oh October 2018 to Jan 2019.
