On the 10 ten year anniversary of the passing of HRH Prince Alexander of Belgium, Prince Leka and his fiancé Miss Elia Zaharia attended the Prince Alexander Foundation gala dinner held under the patronage of HRH Princess Lea at the Brussels City hall. All donations where dedicated to helping the blind community of Belgium.

Princess Léa attended the prize ceremony of the Historic Books Fair in Brussels on November 19. The prize is given by the Prince Alexandre Foundation. Stephane Bern moderated the ceremony:

Princess Léa has been heard by the police.

Her charity received money from a Kazach billionaire Patokh Chodiev.

At the moment politician Armand de Deckers is investigated by the police for his lobby-work for the billionaire. Other politicians are also unde rinvestigation, the police is loking for an explanation for the transactions made by Mr. Chodiev.

On 12 December Artcurial sold 43 items , mostly silver items for 229.866 euros.
The sellers name was not written on the Catalogue but everbody knew it was Heirloom of King Leopold III and Princess Lilian . Therefore the prices were much more important than their estimation.
Does Princess Marie Christine have money probems again ?

Princess Léa once again visited a food distribution service for homeless people in Brussels today, January 30. She helped serving the meals and talked to the visitors:

Mr. Chodiev's lawyer gifted 25,000 euros to the Support Fund of Prince and Princess Alexandre of Belgium in January 2012, and in March 2012, Princess Alexandre passed the money to an organization administered by a prosecutor at the Court of Appeal in Brussels, which negotiated Mr. Chodiev's plea bargain.

The princess says that Mr. De Decker told her the donation was given by the Order of Malta and requested her to make the transaction.

During the first hearing last year [2015], the lawyer said the transaction was requested by Armand De Decker. “He asked me to ‘perform a gesture, a favour’ towards the King’s sister”.

Princess Léa opened an exhibition about Prince Alexandre at the Xpo Center of Oud Sint-Jan in Brugge today, March 17. The exhibiton is free for the public and can be visited till April 17.

I read on facebook that Léa is now in a new relationship, and that she's living together with her new partner. Does anyone know who the new man in her life is?
 
His name is Mr Alain Zenner born in Ghent in 1946.
He is wearing glasses , dark hair and often seen behind the Princess since 2015.
 
Did she inherit any of the Princess of Réthy's jewels?
 
Considering that Lilian refused until her death to meet her, i really doubt it.
 
I am not sure about that. When Princess Esmeralda announced to her Mother that she was pregnant from one of her scientific guests, Prince Alexandre announced that he married Lea some years ago. Princess Lilian was very happy to be Alexandra's Grandmother. But did she met Princess léa and Sir Moncada ??
Did Prince Alexandre or Princess Esmeralda inherit some jewels from their Mother ? I met twice Princess Esmeralda but she never wore jewels.
At the Albanian Wedding Princess léa wore no jewels too.
 
Lilian attended Esmeralda's wedding because king Albert asked her to do so (she refused at first , then they went together to London for the ceremony). At the end Lilian quite liked Sir Moncada, but it was clearly not the case with Lea who was persona non grata at Argenteuil.
About the jewels some small pieces were sold in London back in 2003. I do know Esmeralda inherited some stuff, but as you know some big pieces just disappeared. Knowing Lilian's sometimes harsh ways, i really really doubt Lea inherited something from her, at least directly.

Prince Chalermsuk Yugala’s arrival to the Thailand-Belgium 150 Years Gala Dinner, where he met Princess Léa at a cocktail. The cocktail was attended by General HE Surayud Chulanont, Privy Councillor to HM King Rama X, HE Arsa Sarasin, Personal Private Secretary of late King Rama IX, as well as descendants of the guests of the 1964 State Dinner, given in honor of HM King Baudouin and Queen Fabiola, and main partners of the event.
