Well, Laurent was the only one who considered business class as obligatory then. Philippe and Mathilde were flying economy class too. They were spotted by Flemish passengers who went to Stockholm for the wedding.

The concert was just great imo. And what a beautiful location.

In the November 2010-edition of Royals magazine (French version) they had a short note on Queen Paola's "new hobby", driving carriages, which derives -as stated- from one of her visits to Fair Libramont where she received a foal as a gift. The queen is taking lessons with a specialist, Bernard Ridelle:).

An event to look forward to.

No, she did not attend, and it's not unusual for such occasions, it's often the King,
Queen and Crown Prince Philippe who receive that kind of guests for a luncheon.

But besides that and as you've mentioned her, Princess Mathilde actually had to
cancel all her engagements yesterday and for the coming days, it's been announced
that she has the flu!

King Albert II and the Belgian RF worked harder than ever, Flemish newspapers write. This year they had 628 public engagements, while last year they only had 505. Especially the king and the crown prince had a busy agenda. The article also adds that prince Laurent only left the door of Villa Clementina 28 times this year:

Thanks for the update!:flowers:
It is great to know that Crown Prince Phillipe has got a positive media coverage and his work on the behalf of the country has duly been acknowledged.
