Wasn't the chateau de Argenteuil sold off following the death of Marie Esmeralda's mother?

It was indeed sold by the Belgian state after princess Lilian 's death.

Alexandre and Esmeralda wanted to do in Argenteuil a Leopold III Museum , but it was refused. When they left they put all , even the door hangers.
In our Visitor's Office in Waterloo we have on the first floor , King Leopold III desk office.

The famous Silver service from Odiot , herited from the Count of Flanders was sold. We saw it for the last time for Princess Marie Christine 18th birthday.

Alexandra seems really passionate about the environment and fighting climate change and about science (with her father as her inspiration). When talking about her royal side of the family she highlights her great-grandparents and uncle Boudewijn but not the current generation. The institution itself isn't thst important to her but she does have a clear view on brexit: something forced upon us by the elder generation and the youth will have to suffer for it.

Another interesting bit is where she explains that previously she mainly identified as Hondurian but nowadays the Belgian side is on par with her Latin-American side.

Interesting. I wonder why she does not identify as British considering that she has lived there her entire life and is a citizen.

Princess Esmeralda on 25 October went to Auvelais in Belgium to meet the team of the non-profit organization Succes. This association is active in the prevention and the support to the victims whatever the nature (violence, aggression, disease, mistreatment, harassment, ...) and relies on the experience of former victims to help, support and prevent those who are still suffering.

Also on 24 October Princess Esmeralda was awarded the Commemoration of Peace Medal at a gala evening at Chateau du Lac in Genval on the occasion of the United Nations International Day.

Princess esmeralda wrote her book in 2014 ! She dedicated mine in 2015 .
