Princely House de Ligne

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I think you mixed up Prince of Liege with the Princely house of Ligne.
I believe so too, but I have not found any documents, letters or anything else that support my suspicion that this card is signed by Baudouin of Ligne (12th Prince of Ligne).

I think anderst is correct. It resembles "Ligne" more than "Liège" and the initial is certainly a "B" and not an "A".

I'm sorry I can't be of further help with identification.
Thanks for confirming that you too believe this is the Prince of Ligne. Baudouin is the only recent prince (12th) starting with a ‘B’ but so far I have not seen anything signed by him. Still searching for answers.

I also read B de Ligne.
So I think it must indeed be this Baudouin de Ligne.
You could maybe contact the family through the website of the Chateau de Beloeil.

The Princess Maria de Ligne de La Tremoïlle has passed away aged 100. Born a daughter of the Marquis de Lambertye-Gerbéviller in 1922 she married Prince Jean-Charles de Ligne-La Tremoïlle in 1942 and with him had three children.

What a poor written article: "la princesse de Lambertye-Gerbeviller" is simply a ly wrong and "son papa" is way to familiar for "her father". It reads as a level junior high school newspaper...

May the 100 years old beloved lady rest in peace.

She was the last survivor of her sisters, Princess Leontine, wife of Prince Charles de Ligne and Princess Armand d’Arenberg (Princess Gabrielle) who passed away last year. Yes may she R.I.P

Upon a visit over the weekend I discovered that Charles-Antoine Lamoral de Ligne-La Trémoïlle was married firstly to Lady Moira Beatrice Forbes the daughter of the Anglo- Irish Earl of Granard.
They married on the 7th of October 1971 but sadly were divorced in 1975

Yes, she was married to him at one point, but she later remarried and had children. She was the granddaughter of the American Countess Granard, Beatrice Livingston Mills.
