Default Belgian Royal Residences
This is the royal palace in Brussels, used for official occasions, and were the king comes to work. (Nice office

Philippe and Mathilde at the time of their engagement (1999). They are standing outside the castle of Laeken, that a few months later would become their home.

The Belgian RF also ownes the castle of Ciergnon in the belgian ardennes. It used to be their hunting residence. Now the family goes their often on weekends.



There's also a chapel on the domaine of the castle, that the RF uses. Princess Elisabeth and prince Gabriel were baptised there.

There's also the castle of Fenffe, belonging to the king and queen.
They like to go there for a quiet weekend, or to receive guests.

Of these residences I couldn't find any photos :( :( :(

There's:

-Villa Astrida in Motril (Spain), the holiday residence of Fabiola and
Baudouin, where the king died.

-Villa les romarins, in Châteauneuf-de Grasse, in the south of France,
the holiday residence of the king and queen.

I forgot one
It's the smallest and sweetest house belonging to the royal family: le chalet des princes.
It's a small house that queen Astrid had made for her children to play in.
It was recently renovated, and now it's being used by queen Astrid's great grandchildren!!
princess Elisabeth celebrated her first birthday in it. le chalet des princes is located in the park of Laeken, the home of the dukes of Brabant.

WOW! The castle of Leaken where Phillippe and Mathildhe and their two children live is absolutly beautiful. Thank You for the photos. I thought that they lived in some moderate palace somewhere in Brussels. I was wrong. Will they continue to live here when they become King and Queen? Princess Elisabeth will most likely relocate her one day after she marries waiting to become Queen living with her husband and her family. WOW! Thank You so much!
