There are 28 chairs on the stage, of course the four red ones in the middle are for Felipe, Letizia, Leonor and Sofia (these two are slightly smaller )

Its hard to imagine that Felipe himself sat on one of those smaller chairs at his fathers proclamation almost 39 years ago!

I really like the china pieces, but it is pretty hard to go wrong w/gold and blue.

A video from this morning. The Royal Guard doing their rehearsal in front of the Royal Palace. That is what the new King and Queen will find when they arrive to the Palace after the Proclamation, only the Guard will be dressed in full gala uniform instead of the "working" ones they are wearing today. Tthey say they will be present today at the abdication as well.
