Well, they're not first cousins, but rather second cousins...

Amedeo's grandfather King Albert was Guillaume's grandmother Grand Duchess Josephine-Charlotte's younger brother:

King Leopold of Belgium--Grand Duchess Josephine-Charlotte--Grand Duke Henri--Prince Guillaume
and
King Leopold of Belgium--King Albert--Princess Astrid--Prince Amedeo
 
Dang that's really good info, thanks. I knew they were cousin's I just forgot how they were connected.
 
The royal families are very connected. Some are cousins while are just long descended from the same line. You would be surprised.
 
Does anyone know why there were no official birthday pictures released this year? Will there be a photo-op soon, or a formal party because it is the 25th?
 
I was wondering that myself, but maybe it is every 2 years, becausehow often does someone change in a year?:rolleyes:

Wikipedia hasn't really been that reliable in the past. So it's hard to believe everything that it says.

It is a fact Guillaume failed to complete a degree in political science and history at the University of Durham. However, he did receive a Bachelor of Science in political science from Brunel University in London, but that was after he failed at the University of Durham. He is now continuing his studies in Switzerland.

I don t have a clue but it would be rather nice if he studied in Lausanne, didn t his parents meet each other there?
 
Not sure whether the pics had been posted before? Just to share.. Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg attended National Day in Monaco 2005 I was just browsing all the pics suddenly I saw a very young handsome guy among all the royalty... wondering who was he?? Now I know....:wub:

Is he close with the Casiraghi siblings?
 
I don't think he's close the the Casiraghi siblings, but he was there for Albert's Succession as a representative for the Lux family.
 
He looked absolutely gorgeous in those pictures.
 
I wonder do any of his siblings go with him to these different events or does he just go to them alone all of the time.
 
His brother Felix and his sister alexandra go with him to events and sometimes his father and mother attend the events.
 
yes he does. i have seen a picture of him walking with Pia, and he had a cig in his hand. the picture was from someones private imageshack though.

are you sure? I've just seen three of him with Pia walking, in one he had a mobile phone in his hand, in the second you can't see his hands and in the third there was nothing in his hand :ermm:
