The Coat of Arms of the Kingdom of The Netherlands

The inauguration of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands

**

This thread will be opened following the abdication of Queen Beatrix on 30 april 2013. Until then, please use the thread Abdication of Queen Beatrix & Inauguration of Willem-Alexander; Suggestions & Musings.

Thanks and happy Posting!

As all appropriate threads are still closed i would suggest to open them as an enormous amount of information is coming on as of now and it's easy to otherwise loose the overview.

I had to post this here as the thread is still closed.

The guests will arrive around 13;30.

I think I'll start watching at 12.00pm UK time just to make sure! It's nice they've given us a couple of hours break ;) I've done loads of things since the balcony scene LOL!

Guests are starting to leave the palace to walk to the church now!

Just saw Camilla, looks like she is wearing feathers on her head.
HGDss Stephanie and Guillame arrive. Stephanie in salmon.
Sarvath in purple and looking lovely.
Mathilde in bright pink.
MM is continuing her tradition of not wearing proper hats but headbands.

Also the first cortege is arriving.

Just saw Letizia,Mary and Victoria they all look amazing!

Princess Masako did come.. Good for her.

I'm just glad Letizia isn't wearing her safety pin, but a proper brooch!

MASAKO-sighting!

Also, where can I find a caftan?

The dress code is spectacular. We should see it more often ...

All look so good! Love Victoria in cream, Letizia in blue purple-ish lace dress, Lalla Salma in green (lovely hairstyle and grogeous jewels)...
I see sheikha Mozah!!!
And so happy to see Masako!

Is Mette Marit wearing a tiara? Victoria looks amazing if a little beige. Mathilde looks lovely in that pink. Letizia wearing grey with beading. It's pretty but since she wore beading yesterday meh. She still looks fantastic.

the Princesses look beautifull in Royal Blue...as does the entire RF!!!!

Mabel in black and white. Laurentien in reeed. Margrit in green. Marilene in pink.Annette in back/white.

I didn't know Princess Beatrix was going to be there! Wonderful to see her.

Letizia looks absolutely beautiful, Camilla very elegant in duck egg blue and I love Victoria's hat. However the star for me is Crown Princess Masako. Not because her outfit is particularly lovely or her hat is anything special just because it's so nice to see her and to see her smiling and apparently comfortable! It's definitely a highlight of the day for me.
