An adorable little Princess. Cute picture. :flowers:

She is a little treasure. I am really looking forward to sunday.

:previous: And Leonore is just at that age to assert her own preferences and demand to wear them until they fall to pieces. Perhaps it's her choice.

A friend's little girl insisted on wearing her bubblegum pink gumboots everywhere, ever day. Fortunately, she had a growth spurt and they grew too tight, but they were only fit for the rubbish bin by then!

I saw the picture and I noticed the collar. I take it that the male royals (knights) get the collar and the female royals (members) get the sash around their coats of arms.

Victoria's coat of arms has the collar. I haven't checked the other women's.

Leonore and Nicholas are oth beautiful children. I loved her photo with the White jacket. She seemed comfortable enough walking around the park.

Is it known when he got it? Because at his Wedding Day when the swedish royal men and some other foreign Royals (like King Harald, King Albert II. and Grand Duke Henri) wore the Collar he wore the sash and not the collar. So far this was one of the rare occasions the collar has been worn recently.

Press release from the court on 15th June 2010, before the wedding

There hasn't at least been given any official information from the court that Daniel would have got a collar. But Daniel's coat of arms was revealed before the court gave the press release that he got the Order of the Seraphim. The press release was given on the wedding day.
Mr Daniel Westling will be knight of the order of the Seraphim after the wedding - Sveriges Kungahus

I interpreted it as a question if he had the collar around his coat of arms not the physical collar to wear round his neck.

Aw, the new photo of Leonore is adorable. What a sweet little ladybug!
It would've been nice to see Leonore and Nicolas together but I still really love the photo.

Do you mean a collar like the one Daniel and Carl Philip wear on this photo: http://stoppapressarna.se/sites/default/files/prinsdaniel/prinsdaniel_middag2.jpg

I think Stefan means this collar, which king Carl Gustaf, prince Carl Philip, king Harald, king Albert, grand duke Henri and Tarja Halonen, the president of Finland, wore at Victoria's wedding

The Collar of the Order of the Seraphim is only bestowed as a mark of special distinction. The Collar of the Order of the Seraphim consists of eleven gold seraphims (angels), alternating with eleven blue patriarchal crosses, set in gold, joined with gold links.

What you refer to as the Collar of the Order of the Seraphim is in Sweden known as Serafimerkedjan, the Chain of the Order of the Seraphim, that's why I was confused.

Madeleine really does a good job at exposing her children with set photographs for special occasion. I was almost sure that she would ost a pic of Nicolas for Christmas... He has such a curious face!

:previous: That's a lovely photo. Just by looking at her facial expression here, you can tell that Silvia is a very warm and loving grandmother. Leonore looks really cute but I think her bow is a little too big for her.

What a sweet pic of Silvia and Leo :flowers: You can tell Silvia revels in the role of grandma.

Queen Sylvia must be a very happy grandmother with those precious grandchildren!
