there was one photo of Mary and Fred at the anniversary dinner.
|
If you refer to the one photo that was later shown in a magazine, the uploaded quality of the photgraph was poor at best.

Slowly as the evening progresses we get more and more photos.

Here's hoping you're right re further distribution of photgraphs from the evening.

GD Henri's speech was very nice. Thank you for sharing it with us!

It may not have been the highest of quality, but it certainly wasn't poor. The event is ongoing so of course all of the photos aren't going to come out at once.

They have arrived, and IMO it looks like they've arrived just before the banquet started in the same place where everyone entered this evening. It may be that they stayed inside.

The quality was poor, imo.
In any case, Mary and Frederik arrived privately at the palace either earlier in the piece or just before the gala so it would appear that they remained inside as I anticipated.
Those darn Danes!

Thanks so much for this!
Caroline's dress becomes one of my top 5 favorites she has worn ever. My fav still being the turqoise ensemble she wore in her 30's.
And my favorite pic of the night is the one in the aforementioned gallery where she's smiling half-turned to the camera and half away, with an older couple walking behind her. To me this pic emphasizes her strength, self-confidence, and serenity. She's at an age now wherein she doesn't need a man nor an accompaniment (actually she never needed one imho, she's always exuded a strength of character & self-confidence). Rather, she shows up alone, in all her glory, a treasure to her parents, family, and the House of Grimaldi.
Now I'm just wondering who designed her dress, as well as the ring & bracelet she's wearing, not to forget the clutch purse. I love the whole ensemble, including the heels!

Additionally, Elie Saab never disappoints, I'll never forget the dress he created for Victoria at her pre-wedding ball. Still my favorite of all-time...
WTG, Victoria!

What a pity that we don't see pictures of Stéphanies royal sister-in-laws Tessy and Alexandra!

So glad this was a tiara event. :-)
I have to laugh at some of the indentifications these news agencies are giving some of the pictures.
So far I've seen Prince Nicholas of Lichtenstein and his wife Margaretha of Luxembourg identified as King Carl and Queen Silvia of Sweden and at another website, King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece identified as King Albert and Queen Paola of Belgium!!
Nice to see Queen Fabiola! And I was pleasantly surprised to see Prince Kyril of Bulgaria escorting his sister-in-law Princess Miriam. (her husband Kardam, brother of Kyril, is still in a coma after 4 years...)
My favorite surprise tonight though is Princess Sybilla of Luxembourg wearing her Great-Great Grandmother, Queen Victoria-Eugenie of Spain's beautiful Aquamarine /diamond tiara and parts of that parure!!! I believe this is the first time we've ever seen her wearing these jewels?

I love how Stephanie and her mother-in-law wear similar stunning dresses, with MT in gold (as it should be), and the younger one in silver.
What a credit she's going to be for Luxembourg, they really are exceptionally lucky to get her, WTG Guillaume!

Some agencies should employ some royalwatchers like us!
