Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani's first wife is Sheikha Mariam Bint Mohammed Al Thani, daughter of his first cousin, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Abdullah Al Thani. The couple have 8 children, two sons and six daughters.
Sheikh Mishaal (born 1972) is the eldest child of the Emir, and is the Longstanding Ambassador to the EU, living in Brussels. Since he is mainly based abroad, he doesn't take an active role in the day-to-day affairs of the Goverment. He is the President of the Arab Equestrian Federation, Chairman of the Al Rayyan Sports Club, and Member of Qatar Equestrian and Racing Club. He is married with 5 kids, 2 sons and 3 daughters, namely Sheikh Abdullah (Member of QREC), Sheikh Mohammed, and Sheikh Hamad, as well as Sheikha Rowdha and Sheikha Mariam.
Sheikh Fahd is the second son of the Emir, he is married with one son, Sheikh Hamad.
Sheikha Aisha is the third child, and first daughter of the Emir of Qatar, she is married and lives in Qatar.
Sheikha Hussah is the fourth child and second daughter of the Emir, she resides in Qatar. She attended Qatar Academy, and Saratoga University (Graduating in 2005).
Sheikha Sara is the fifth child, and third daughter of the Emir. She is the Program Coordinator for the Charity Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), headed by her step mother, Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned. She is the most prominently pictured daughter of the first wife of the Emir of Qatar and is involved in charity work.
Sheikha Rawdah is the sixth child, and fourth daughter of the Emir, she resides in Qatar.
Sheikha Fatima is the seventh child and fifth daughter of the Emir, she resides in Qatar.
Sheikha Mashael is the eighth and final child of the Emir and Sheikha Mariam.
Sheikha Mariam Al Thani, the Emir's first wife, keeps a low profile in contrast to the Emir's second wife, Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned. She hasn't been photographed publicly as to date.

Sheikh Hamad's second wife is Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned. She is the most well-known wife of the Emir, in both Qatar and abroad.
She made waves in the Fashion Industry by being named a fashion icon by famed designer Julien MacDonald. She is Chairperson of the Qatar Foundation, which has led to establishment of world class universities and institutions in Doha. She is the Founder and Board Member of Silatech, a youth organization committed to providing employment oppurtunities for Arab youth in the Middle East.
She married the Emir at the age of 18 while a student at Qatar University. She graduated with a degree in Sociology. The couple have 7 children, five boys and two girls.
Sheikh Jasim (born 1978) is the eldest child, and former Crown Prince of Qatar. He studied at Qatar Academy, before moving to Sandurst for Military Training. He was Crown Prince until 2003, when he relinquished his rights in favor of his younger brother, Sheikh Tamim. He is currently the Personal Representative of the Emir, and Honorary President of Qatar National Cancer Society. He is also the Chair of the High Committee for Coordination, Chair of the Supreme Council of Environment and Patron of the Aspire Academy. He is married to Sheikha Buthaina Bint Hamad Al Thani, and has 3 children, Sheikh Fahd, Sheikha Mozah, and Sheikha Hind.
Sheikh Tamim (born 1980) is the second eldest, and current Crown Prince of Qatar. He attended Harrow & Sherborne School in the UK, before moving onto Sandhurst for training. As Crown Prince, he plays an active role in the Governance of Qatar and holds a number of posts in Governmental, Sports, and Charity organizations. He is also the Deputy Commander In Chief of the Qatar Armed Forces. He is married to Sheikha Jawaher Bint Hamad Al Thani, a distant cousin with whom he has 3 kids, Sheikha Al Mayassa, Sheikh Hamad, and Sheikha Aisha. He also has a second wife, Sheikha Anoud Bint Mana Al Hajri, daughter of Former Qatari Ambassdor to Jordan, with whom he has a daughter, Sheikha Nayla.
Sheikha Al Mayassa (born 1983) is the eldest daughter of the couple. She attended Qatar Academy, moving onto Duke University and Universite De Paris-Sorbonne 1 where she studied Political Science and Literature. She has worked at UNESCO in Paris. She is the Chair of the charity foundation Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), she is also the Chair of Art & Culture foundations in Qatar. She has been involved in humanitarian efforts for many years now and is married to Sheikh Jassim Bin Abdul Aziz Bin Jassim Al Thani, member of the Cabinet, with two sons, Sheikh Mohammed and Sheikh Hamad.
Sheikh Joaan is the fifth son of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Al Thani. He recieved his education in Saint Cyr, France, and was the Torch Relay Ambassador at the Opening Ceremony of the Asian Games in Doha in 2006. He is married to Sheikha Al Maha Bint Salem Al Mannai, daughter of notable businessman Salem Al Mannai, and the couple have one son, Sheikh Hamad.
Sheikha Hind, is the youngest daughter of the couple. She attended Qatar Academy, and Duke University, from where she graduated in 2005. She has recieved a considerable amount of international attention, since she usually accompanies the Emir on State Visits abroad, and is Director of the Emir's Office, since 2009. She is married to Sheikh Faisal Bin Thani Al Thani.
Sheikh Mohammed (born 1987) is the sixth child of the couple. He attended Qatar Academy, and was one of the first batch of graduates from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service in Doha, Qatar, where he was the captain of the Football Team. Sheikh Mohammed is most notably known for leading the bid for the Qatar 2022 World Cup which was successful.
Sheikh Khalifa (born 1991) is the youngest child of the couple. He attended Qatar Academy, and is now attending University.

Sheikh Hamad Al Thani married a third wife, Sheikha Noora Bint Khalid Al Thani, daughter of the former Interior Minister, Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Thani. They have four sons and five daughters.
Sheikh Khalid is the eldest child of the couple. He is the current President of the Motor Sports and Motorcycle Club in Doha. He is married to Sheikha Maryam Bint Nasser Al Thani, with whom he has one daughter, Sheikha Noora.
Sheikh Abdullah, is the second son of the couple. He is the President of the Al Rayyan Sports Club in Qatar.
Sheikh Thani, is the third son of the couple. He resides in Qatar.
Sheikha Luluwaa is the eldest daughter and fourth child of the couple. She is married to Sheikh Jassim Al Thani, a cousin, and resides with her family in Qatar.
Sheikha Maha is the second eldest daughter and fifth child of the couple. She lives in Qatar with her family.
Sheikha Dana is the third daughter and sixth child of the couple. She lives in Qatar with her family.
Sheikha Al Anood is the fourth daughter and seventh child of the couple, she lives in Qatar with her family.
Sheikha Mariam is the youngest child of the couple. She lives in Qatar with her family.
Sheikha Noora Al Thani keeps a low profile in Qatar, and has not been photographed as of yet.
