I certainly hope not. She deserves better than that.

And to be honest, in this day and age, If that ever were the case I think the monarchy would find itself in a most fragile position. William having a relationship outside of wedlock would be, I think, a most dangerous move for the institution.

Kate has already tasted the bitter media pill of association with royalty. The poor girl deserves some peace after the constant hounding. As for William, he shouldn't be forced into marriage if he is not ready, but on the other hand, it is high time that he start acting like the second in line to the throne and ceases his high profile galavanting about and random groping of young women.
 
Love how Kate's loosened up since the breakup - she looks so much more natural in front of the camera - because who cares how she acts now! She doesn't have to be accountable to the royal family. I always liked her, but if its not meant to be...
 
I hope we still can get to see pictures of her sometimes! I really like her I think she likes to have fun and go out with friendss during the nigth, very appropriate for her age, really not for a future QUEEN!!
 
I think Kate is a really clever girl. Just look at how she has stolen Prince William the show after the break-up. All we have seen of him is getting totally drunk last weekend, allegedly burning 11K on money on drinks, while Kate carefully made sure she was seen in public smiling, looking stunning, controlled, mature, almost as if she wants to demonstrate that it is indeed his loss, not hers. She even had the nerve to go to the nightclub in which William only six days ago shouted "I'm free" and danced with William's buddy Guy.

I would really love be able to read mindes just once - only to find out if William has already had some second thoughts whether or not dumping Kate was a brilliant move. Being single as an officer living in barracks might have some appeal in theory, but once you really face the music and have to take a lone trip to the local cinema instead of being able to spend quality time with the girl that really cares for you, it may well be some kind of reality shock.

Quite frankly, the whole thing has turned out to be a media disaster for the Royal Family and William's inner circle of polo lads despite all the spin doctors in the background. It could not have been worse, the whole snobbery discussion has done considerable damage and most likely alienated quite a few people.

It is a bit like Manchester vs. Roma the other week: Middleton 7, Wales 1.
 
i hate burst your bubbles (and please correct me if i'm wrong) but the photos from the WENN link are from April 7 which is a week before they "officially" broke up. nevertheless, she looks fantastic as usual!
 
I think they where from the 20th. 20.04.07. I could be wrong.

Honestly, who cares what the kid does, it is no business of mine who he dates, does, flings, weds, or any of that, should he do any of that. He would never do anything to upset his Dad or Grandparents. So I will just wait watch and be entertained. I just hope he goes for someone who can actually be called beautiful, and balanced. Those boys have really disapointed me with their decisions, the females they have "hooked up" with or possibly "shagged" are truly "ill gaited" and "badly conformed", comon boys, date Asians.

Well, many of us do care what 'the kid' does, and it is our business: he's in line to be King of Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK, etc., one day.

I am not comfortable, either, with your inference that the women in the princes' lives are physically inferior to Asian women. Or perhaps I've misunderstood your comments?

The apparently well-informed mother of all tabloids, The Sun, has made it known that William and Kate have been in contact at least four times on the phone since the contact - and also that William called Guy Pelly and asked him to look after Kate at the Mahiki.

While having fun after a break-up certainly is a smart thing to do, I am not exactly sure if repeated telephone conversations with your ex who has just dumped you are the thing to do - at least not immediately after the split (unless it was really an amicable split). I also would not have entertained the idea of being chaperoned at the Mahiki by a guy who obviously belongs to the "doors to manual"-gang.

The Sun also has a somewhat revealing picture of Kate climbing out of a cab in this article.

i don't understand why people keep saying that william dumped her. since we've had no statement from either william or catherine it's equally safe to assume that the break up was mutual. let's face, people's lives take different directions. what was so wonderful 4+ years ago may seem completely wrong now. perhaps it was catherine that said enough is enough. i think we should all stop being so critical of william and give them both the benefit of the doubt.
 
Even if it was a "mutual break-up" (what makes a break-up "mutual" - the only thing I can see is that one party does not put up much resistance when the other is suggesting a split....) it appears as if Kate did not take it as serious or permanent as William - otherwise the widely reported telephone conversation in the parking lot and Kate storming out of the office after the call is quite inexplicable.

I just read an interesting and quite entertaining comment - one quote from it:

Just where she [Catherine Middleton] will go now and what she will do next should be a matter of real concern to the royals. Having opened the door to their gilded world and exposed her to its darkness along with its glamour they should take pains to ensure that she doesn't end up as damaged goods.

Any idea what happened to the Audi?, Since the breakup I had seen Kate in that black Land Rover, I wonder what happened to the Audi, I read somewhere she got a good deal by influence of Prince Charles.

And has anyone noticed she is not wearing boots!

Just another article consisting of 1% facts (they got the names right), 30% of guesswork and 69% of very bad ifiction (in other words rubbish). :bash:

I was rather amused they had to drag Prince Philip into the story, of course in a negative way.
And they certainly couldn't keep from mentioning Princess Diana.

I'm disappointed they broke up, but I was one of the ones urging caution on all of us getting out the Royal Doulton to celebrate the engagement!

I read the article about Klaus Harmony, too -- I can't believe that Prince Philip would encourage William's interest in this music (Prince Philip giving William a play list? I think not!). Why is Prince Philip always the villain in these fantasies??

Because the fairy tale ended and someone has to have been the wicked stepmother role - and Philip, being foreign born, obviously fits the bill!!!

Seriously I don't know.

Everything I have read about Philip, from serious sources, refers to him as a caring and loving father and grandfather if a bit gruff. He calls a spade a spade and has certain standards he expects to be followed. Deep down I think he wants all his kids and grandkids to be happy and successful in their lives - just like any other person.
 
I just saw on a news report that one of the reasons they broke up was Kate's mother. She had been seen at a royal event chewing gum ("So teenager and 'whatever'" was how the comentator put it.) and when her mother met the Queen all she said was "Pleased to meet you." AND she used to be an airline hostess.

That social classifing is SO British Royal Family. Somehow I think Her Majesty and The Duke have their names written all over this:sad: . They may not, but that's just my opinion.
