I'm sure she has, and she's got grandkids too, who I'm sure occasionally slip up. I know that when I'm nervous about saying the wrong thing, it comes out anyway, and then I just say something else that's inappropriate in away of frustration, and it turns into a big, embarrassing mess. Good to know Her Majesty has no issues about putting people at ease.

Not at all surprised by who he chose. All Family, including the Furry Four Legged Member. :)

Man's best friend and best example of unconditional love and never ever tells your secrets to anyone.

Perhaps some will think that naming Lupo is nothing but a cute idea but I see it as a very good thing. Many times a child just can't feel he can talk to anyone and with talking it out to a beloved pet, it does get out and that's a whole lot better than holding things in and letting them fester.

Exactly!! There were days for me, when the only one I told anything to about the Hell School had been for me that day, was my cat Puss Puss. Mom and Dad were also going through their own form of Hell fighting w/the School over both what the Kids and Teachers were dishing out to me daily. Because of that, there were days when I just could not add on to the stress they were going through. So I talked to the only one I knew would both listen and also never tell a soul what I'd said. I know there were times when talking to my Beautiful Boy literally kept me sane and/or hanging on by the edges of my fingernails.

He crossed The Rainbow Bridge nearly ten years ago and do I miss him. So, to me, William naming Lupo among his Big Five of Support People is just perfect sense to me. :)

LOL!! What a great little joke. Got to remember that one for the Parents. :)

Wasn't it... "I am the Daughter, Wife, Mother and Grandmother of Sailors. Why it's assumed I have never heard a single swear word in my life, I will never understand!!" At least that how it was in one of my many books I have.

He'd just been promoted Captain, but didn't have a chance to let his Wife know about it before getting home. So when he got into bed and announced the Captain was there...

Hope that cleared it up for you. :)

Isn't he also visiting Child Bereavement that day too? I saw it on my Facebook newsfeed.

I was in SPED for math. As complicated as we ever got was division. And my teachers were thrilled when I learned that!
So sorry I missed that! Not! And I seem to be doing OK in life without it!
Sounds thrilling! Oh what William does for England! At least he also gets to have fun with the kids from CBT that day....

The School of Pythagoras is the oldest building of St Johns College Cambridge built near year 1200. Currently it's the college archive center. Thanks Wikipedia 😀

Pythagoras theorem is a2 + b2=c2 where a, b , c are sides of a triangle

I was not in special SpEd for math,,but I fond it next to impossible, and quite useless. Honestly, unless a person is going into medicine, computer science/any science field, or engineering, anything beyond the basics is a waste of time. I'm not using algebra, or trigonometry in my field, or in life, and like you, I'm doing just fine. For William's sake, I hope the event is not too boring. Heaven knows I'd be falling asleep after about five seconds at anything math/science-related.

Oh, I remember that formula! I'm thankful for it being easier than the quadratic equation.

A Cambridge college will welcome back one of its former students this week, to officially re-open one of its most famous buildings.

Many students like to return to their college after graduating from university, but for one former scholar it's a case of business before pleasure when he visits on Thursday.

Prince William completed a 10-week agricultural course at St John's College last year, to prepare him for taking on his inheritance of the Duchy of Cornwall.

The course saw him commute to Cambridge for lectures and seminars with fellow PhD students, on private a course designed specifically for him.

The widow of a Royal Navy officer took the chance to say thank you in person to the Duke of Cambridge for sending her family a "touching" letter of condolence when her husband was shot on a nuclear submarine.
