Not a Blues and Royal uniform, it's the Black Frock Coat of the Irish Guards that we see at St Patrick's Day. The one will the layers on the front.

There is also a pic of of will, kate & george that was taken at Bucklebury by Michael Middleton. didnt know who the dog was - thanks, didnt look like Lupo

British LGBT awards: Prince William attacks homophobic bullying while accepting Celebrity Straight Ally award

Prince William has said "nobody should be bullied for their sexuality" as he was recognised for his support for the LGBT community.

He told the British LGBT Awards on Friday evening via a video message: "It's so important to be proud of the person you are."

The Duke of Cambridge was named "straight ally of the year" and was among several celebrities given awards.

TV presenter Clare Balding and diver Tom Daley were also named winners.

Prince William, who appeared on the cover of gay magazine Attitude last year, made the video message ahead of the ceremony in London's Grand Connaught Rooms.

Prince William has backed a fundraising campaign for a memorial to recognise the bravery of police officers killed in the line of duty.

Ahead of the campaign's launch on Wednesday, the Duke of Cambridge said it was “high time” a focal point for remembrance existed for officers.

The UK Police Memorial will bear the names of more than 1,400 police staff who died on duty including Keith Palmer, who was killed in the Westminster terror attack.

Back again to make a post about Williams visit to Manchester.

Videos:
Prince William has made a surprise visit to Manchester in the wake of the terror attack that claimed the lives of 22 people and injured more than 100 last week. William travelled to Greater Manchester Police headquarters where he met those who were first on the scene after Salman Abedi detonated a homemade bomb at Manchester Arena during an Ariana Grande concert on Monday 22 May:

Mr Jenkins said: "It was absolute chaos. People were screaming and running in different directions.

"I was just trying to feed back to communications as much as I could."

He added: "Prince William was asking us about what happened. He's a good lad.

"He was showing us respect and showing us gratitude for what we did."

A MAJOR joint UK-Irish ceremony has begun in Belgium to mark the centenary of a First World War battle where unionist and nationalist soldiers from Ireland fought side by side in the trenches.

The Duke of Cambridge and Irish premier Enda Kenny are at the Island of Ireland Peace Park in Messines in Flanders, to commemorate the first day of the week-long battle.

William and Mr Kenny have been joined by Princess Astrid of Belgium and Lord Dunlop, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Northern Ireland Office, to honour the soldiers who fought in the battle.

They laid wreaths at the foot of the Round Tower memorial, before meeting invited guests including descendants of those who fought at the Battle.

They are doing a joint tour this fall but I'm blank on where they are going...Prince William was overheard at one of the garden parties telling it to a visitor.

During the garden party, William mentioned a Scandinavian tour this fall

Yes that's it, thanks Rudolph!

Oh really? I totally missed that! Thanks!

Other than the British Monarchy, I am not familiar with who belongs to which royal family. Which families would this Scandinavian tour involve? Would it involve Mette-Marit? She is my next favorite royal after the Queen, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry.

I seem to remember William mentioned Norway in part of the conversation. If the tour involves Norway then Mette Marit as Crown Princess (along with her husband Crown Prince Haakon) would probably be meeting the Cambridges.

From yesterday. unannounced engagements for William
