Fortunately for those not interested in football (by which I assume you mean soccer as football to me is a range of games including
Rugby, Rugby League and Australian Rules) there are other things listed as well such as playgrounds for children.

This area has been a passion of Philip's for well over 60 years and I notice that they made a comment at the end that the 30 year old Philip is remarkably similar in appearance to William (something I have been saying for years - I have always seen Philip as the dominant look in William).

Yes I meant what you would call Soccer, the article also mentions William following in the footsteps of his great great grandfather, who set up the first national playing field scheme.

I didn´t know where to post it,here´s an article from hello magazine-they wrote about how much money the wedding exhibition raised for charity (there are also nice pictures!):

"The gown has now no doubt secured the royal seal of approval after raising an estimated £10 million.Money raised from the exhibit will go to a charity set up by her and Prince William"

"We believe that it will provide a unique opportunity for us to use our privileged position to make a real difference in the future to many areas of charitable work," the Daily Express quoted Prince William as saying.

"However, Blue Heart is affiliated with the United Nations, a neutral organisation. That means Kate has been told it is not appropriate for her to publicly support it because of her close ties to the Queen – a head of state."

And so why are CP Haakon, CP Mette-Marit, CP Mary, P Caroline, GD Maria Theresa, etc. allowed to be involved with UN organisations? They all are closer to their respective monarchs aka heads of state. Doesn't make sense to me that that would be the reason given for Kate.

If anyone wants to look at the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent thread, Prince Michael attended a function for this organization quite recently.

Well done William! I am impressed by his commitment and that of the Duchess to help forgotten members of society. They do not just pick the glamorous charities to support.

Indeed. That's why we love, respect and admire this couple (and them as individuals too).
