And another article
BBC News - William and Kate recall St Andrews University courtship

I almost cried reading this
williamcatherinecambridge:
He also chatted with one of the guests, Adrienne Kimball, about how much he and his wife loved their engagement portrait by Mario Testino. ‘If we had asked for that picture of us hugging we wouldn’t have got it. It was just very natural and summed up how unbelievably happy we were,’ he said.

Loved seeing William and Kate at the St. Andrews event. That dress has always been one of my favourites.

I also like that lace dress.

But I wonder if William was entirely truthful about how much he loved St. Andrews?
I seem to recall he was not happy there and wanted to transfer to Cambridge at one point, but Charles wanted him to say put.

I think William grew to like or love St. Andrews. For some people it take a while before you get comfortable with the college or university you are attending. That happened to me too. He made some very good friends there and he walked away with his future wife, I'll say St. Andrews was good to him.

I've always understood that William's problems early on at St. Andrews was more due to the degree he went for wasn't a good fit. That it wasn't until after he switched from History of Art to Geography IIRC that he settled in.

I could be wrong about that of course. I really love that dress and happy to see it again. I also loved William's speech. :)

I'd say it more than likely belongs in both cepe, so I think you're okay w/putting in here. Thank you for sharing that w/us. Both for this article and the news on the right hand side of the article on the big discovery of this year in HIV/AIDS research. I hadn't heard that and that just proves what can happen when any disease gets the proper funding it so badly needs.

Sigh...I love that particular series of pictures of Diana and her boys. It just radiates love and how much fun they were having together. Really one of my favourites. :)

Not sure if this belongs here becaus its about William and Harry supporting the Terence Higgins Trust. Can't find a thread for the Royal Foundation.

Love the pic in this article!

That makes two of us then :D. I'm so glad that William and Harry are taking on charities that are not focusing on superficial things. What they support requires a good deal of compassion, acceptance and the ability to keep an open mind.

While I agree that William no doubt works hard to supportthese several organisation she is involved with, his 92 years old grandfather Prince Philip is patron of over 800 organisations. It would be nice to see William, Kate and Harry take on many, many more responsibilities and commitments from the older generation.

Not sure how you can compare the two, it makes little sense.

royal-blue, the younger royals workload will increase over time.

It's pretty much up to The Queen & Duke of Edinburgh to hand more responsibility over to younger royals. William has stated in an interview that they are always asking their grandparents on what more they could do for them. The ball really lies in The Queen & Duke of Edinburgh's corner. William & Catherine and Harry will do what's required of them.
