What a wonderful welcoming speech to make. It does clarify that Wills does get involved in quite a few aspects of the FA and takes his role seriously. It just goes to amplify that whatever we do see in photos and articles is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to a royal's involvement in what they back.

The Duke of Cambridge, President of the Football Association, will attend the FA Cup final at Wembley stadium, Saturday 21 May 2016.

The Duke will present this year's winning team with the trophy from the Royal Box. It comes as he marks his 10th anniversary as President of the English Football Association (FA) this year.

The Duke of Cambridge led tributes to the victims of the Manchester terror attack at today's FA Cup final amid unprecedented security at Wembley Stadium.

Prince William, in his role as president of the Football Association, laid a wreath before kick-off of the match between Arsenal and Chelsea alongside the governing body’s chairman, Greg Clarke, Manchester mayor Andy Burnham and Culture Secretary Karen Bradley.

A minute’s silence was also held and Arsenal wore black armbands as heavily-armed police and tank-like armoured vehicles guarded the national stadium in the biggest security operation in the 145-year history of the world’s oldest cup competition.

William does a good job supporting the other England teams besides the men's team. He was a big supporter of the women's team during the last World Cup when they finished 3rd. I would suspect the Young Lions will be visiting KP this summer to celebrate their win.

Considering England only got one vote, they don't appear to be that great at trying to bribe people. How much did Qatar especially and Russia fork over in bribes.

The whole FIFA organisation is absolutely riven with corrupt activity, in my humble opinion. They'd do better to start all over again with a new Soccer regulatory body, I believe. This is a huge report. Hardly any of it has been released.

The Duke of Cambridge was celebrating today after he managed to score a penalty against the England women's football team.

The Duke, who is president of the FA, was praised as "actually good" by players after he took a penalty with Jill Scott in goal.

His success continued a long-running joke with Scott, who tackled him by accident a decade ago during a friendly kick about.

"She's lethal," the Duke told her team members, joking he still has a scar on his leg from where she accidentally kicked him after slipping.
