Kate's engagement next week is likely to be her last official duty before Christmas.

I'm glad the court is now in the habit of publishing her meetings. At first they weren't doing so. Let's everyone know that even when you don't see her out publically, she's working behind the scenes.

I would never have guessed Chelsea

Quote:
The Duchess of Cambridge has appeared to reveal her support for Chelsea Football Club during a royal engagement.

In a chat about football during a visit to a mental health centre in north London, Kate joked with a young boy before sharing a high-five.

The Duchess told the youngster her husband Prince William supports Aston Villa before trying to guess which team the young boy supported.

She guesses Manchester United and the boy groans before asking in reply if she supported them.

She replied "Chelsea", which is greeted with a "yes" and a high-five from the youngster.

Loved the picture of the little boy resting his head on Kate's arm. They look very involved in their project.

^ Unfortunately many of these photographs of Kate look as if they have been photo-shopped to within an inch of life. I believe only the KP photographer was allowed to take snaps within the centre, leaving the print media's photographers on the back foot again.

I have no idea what is meant by KP Photographer, KP doesn't have its own photographer AFAIK.
But here is a link to the work of Mark Cuthbert, independent photographer. Some great pix

There are pool photographers as well as pool reporters. Press association organise it.

And I don't agree that these are photoshopped. Cant see any evidence of that.

I like that Catherine said a few words to everyone before leaving the party. She might get in the habit of doing what some of the royals do, saying a few unscripted words at the end of an engagement.

The print media buys pics from agencies and independents. The Daily Mail for example in today's story used pictures from 6 different agencies, including the Press Association, REX and Getty Images.

Its the same for every royal engagement

^ Yes, and photoshops them. There is a huge difference between the Kate who we saw shopping in London in photos the other day, looking haggard, tired out and rather older than her age, and the photos of her seen in this centre where there's barely a line on her face to be seen.

Curryong I think its against forum rules to say these images are photoshopped. Do you have any evidence other than your bias against Catherine?

Getty Images is very litigious

The images are real and very beautiful. The images of her out shopping were her off duty pics and she didn't have her official self together. What I like about Catherine is that she's real. She don't look like the perfect image of a princess every single day.

Here is video tape from today's activities with close-ups of Kate. (Can video be "photoshopped?" IMHO I still see the lines on her face, but now she's indoors, wearing a warm color and more make up. Also it looks like she's well-rested.

Nah, you can definitely see lines on Kate's face, she just has more make-up on today than she did while out shopping. Not to mention I bet there's a difference between a pap's camera & the camera of someone actually close to a person & not taking photos in secret. Not to mention the added benefit of Kate actually enjoying herself today. She might also have had a good nights sleep. There are so many things that could explain why she looks better today and photoshop is far at the bottom of the list.
