All the talk at the moment is about equality in the sport so maybe Kate could send a clear message it isn't just about the men's final...

When comparing Kate and the Queen's attendance its important IMO to remember the Queen is patron of 600+ organisations, Kate has barely double figures. The Queen as sovereign has a number of patronages she is automatically expected to take on, if she attended all of the events for these she wouldn't have time to do anything else let alone be Head of State (imagine if she attended every performance from the groups she is patron of) instead other members of the RF take on the charity as well being able to give it more time.

Today is more than the men's final. The mixed doubles final are today too with Jamie Murray and Heather Watson on opposite sides. The Duke and Duchess will probably stay for that too. Last year they stayed for the mixed doubles final. However this year, they do have a tour starting tomorrow.

Frankly, the men's finals have been way more interesting than the ladies's final. Plus you have a British Player Andy Murray playing in three men's finals at Wimbledon.

This is Kate's first year at Patron. It's a Patronage that she is going to hold for a long time. She doesn't have to go to everything the first year. Also yesterday when the ladies final was played was Camilla's 70th birthday party at Highgrove.

The mixed doubles final are on now and William and Kate were just shown on tv in the royal box. So they didn't bail after watching the Men's final.

Love the videos! She's totally in her element there, kids and tennis! The one lady on the court when she first walked out ..she was taller than Kate, which you don't see too often!

Not sure if we'll see Kate at Wimbledon in her role as patron of AELTC and Lawn Tennis Assoc. but former champion Andre Agassi had some nice words about meeting Kate and good wishes for her new sister-in-law.

The Wimbledon legend opened up about meeting Kate at The Championship semi-finals in 2012.
Speaking about the delightful experience, he described the Duchess as “lovely” and “a complete doll."
He told Hello!: ”I really thought she was incredibly pleasant. She was lovely.”
The pair shared the same row of seats in the Royal Box during the event, attended together with their spouses Prince William and Steffi Graf.
Agassi revealed he and his wife had a lovely conversation with Kate at Wimbledon.
